I’m Afghan, but grew up in America. The thing that blew my mind when I first went to Afghanistan was that the mountains are indeed snow capped. It DOES snow in the mountains and if you go north. The thing afghanistan doesn’t really have are rivers and lakes. They’re irrigated man made lakes and rivers or irrigated underwater springs

It snows A LOT in Afghanistan, actually. The whole country is comprised of tall mountains. Geographically speaking, it's almost impenetrable. That's why it got the moniker "Graveyard of Empires". Palm trees on the other hand, are very seldom found (if any). Great video, as always!

Can confirm the Mario Kart Arcade GP info is real, however there's only one image. It's of the Besnian school siege in Russia and is labelled "camtest" in the game. Metadata shows that it was edited only days after the event, meaning it was likely a random photo copied from a news site. It's obviously not accessible in the actual game, you have to go hunting in the game data to find it. It's bizzare.

Not that I'm defending them but 9/11 probably doesn't mean much to people from outside the U.S. there was even an episode of Death Note were the towers were visible in one shot despite the whole franchise coming out and being set post 9/11. With it being Japanese, they probably based the scene off an old stock photo and forgot that the towers were gone. Still, this games creators knew they were recreating a terrorist attack though this game does actually seem pro-U.S. military, it would still be considered very insensitive if an American made it.

I did know about this game before as it was quite talked about in some Spanish forums back in 2015/16 and it even got an entry on the Lost Media Wiki. Idk if you watched his bootleg streams, but it's full of interesting bootlegs that if you decide to make more videos on bootleg games he would be a good starting point into what games to choose to cover. Besides, a video on the infamous 7 Grand Dad bootleg is inevitable if bootleg games do become another topic of discussion on your channel. The game's a huge icon online of bootlegs!
