I’ve been hiking in the woods when I was younger. Came across someone that was following me, the first thing I did was pick up a good size rock. He was about 30 feet away, I said, you have a Fu*king problem, made sure he seen the rock in my hand. Then I made my way back to my car, there are a lot weird people out there, he knew he would of gotten his head split open.

I have several LED flashlights ranging from 2,000-6,000 lumens. Just bought a 5,000 lumen light. Don't go off into the dark without it. I also don't off into the dark without my 1911 .45 or my FN FNX .45 with a spare loaded mag. I prefer 230 grain +P JHPs.

I own land in central Texas. It’s very rural and heavily forested. One day a few years back, I was out there to solo-camp. Around 6:30pm, as I was gathering wood for my fire later that night, I begin to hear rustling and cracking. It was coming from my left about 100’ off. Then I start to hear this eerie whistling. “Pop Goes the Weasle.” I was just standing there like “WTF?” Now mind you, I’m on *my* land. As I watch, a head begins to peek out from behind a tree. Then the person steps fully into view. He was dressed like a clown, all dirty, and brandishing a machete. Dude was grinning at me and started to walk at me. Well, like I said, I was on *my* land. It has hogs and snakes. Soooo… I carry a Ruger GP100 .357 magnum for the hogs and a Ruger LCP II for the snakes. I pulled the .357, said “Let’s do this, fucker…” in a loud voice and began power-walking straight at him. The asshole dropped the machete, turned and ran faster than I’d ever seen anyone run before. He was yelling “I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” I picked up the machete and ruined it on a large rock. Still, all things considered, I decided it would not be smart to solo-camp out there that night. So thinking about it tho, who the hell thinks it’s a good idea to wander around heavily wooded private property in central Texas in a clown outfit with a machete?

I’m not sure what I just watched but from years of backcountry experience, I never enter the backcountry without my CCW where permissible. If you had a CCW, you could have calmly walked away from the potential threat. By running in those slippery conditions, you could have fallen and knocked yourself unconscious. Taven take it or leave it just a suggestion for you I would not run with sleet and moss on the ground like you were because if you slip and fall out there there’s nobody there to help you if you broke a leg. You be a sitting duck for them I’d be a little scared after seeing what your sob it looks like you saw Bigfoot nest like one of the tree and one below it where it’s all group together I had a picture of one of those years ago and I kept taking pictures of it and they came along and chopped down. The city did it they came along and chopped down but it was one just like what you saw there. End it had all these eggs I want to say in it in the spring time it was like a whole nest of all these little twigs and branches in a weaved in between as a sad in these big I wanna say bluish silver eggs look like ostrich eggs almost all over it I thought it was very unusual different that’s why I was taking pictures of it. But going back to the other with running and ice I have fallen and I broke my leg that way. It was an adult scavenger hunt and I had just gotten out of a cast after being in one for a year and a half and I turnaround I broke my foot ankle and leg. So you can take it or leave it but I would suggest you not run as fast as you were take a little slower steps have a great day and I’d be a little scared like you were.

Several years back me and my girlfriend were traveling wk pky in Western KY and stopped at a rest stop to let my little dog walk and parked near far end of the property near the garage and dumpsters. While walking my dog I seen a tall dark stick figure probably at least 9 or 10 feet tall . It was darker than the background even late at night and when I focused on creature it ran with such speed that it was a blur and it went behind the garage and my dog never even noticed it. Then my girlfriend was waving frantically for me to go so I grabbed my dog and jumped in the van and I asked her what happened and she said she seen a tall dark figure standing behind the dumpster peeking around at her and she said that it was taller than the dumpster. What I want to know has anyone else ever seen this creature?? Could be demonic or alien.
