What's good Josh, Joy, and fellow HotFix_Gaming subscribers?! I hope that everyone is doing well. Same here. Well done on another great video! I really enjoyed the pacing, historical information, and haunting music playing low in the background. When I'm not playing video games in my spare time, I'm watching true crime mysteries, cold cases, and the like, so this style is right up my alley. I've never heard of Town of Light, Visage, 9 Childs Street, or Kholat before, so it was interesting to hear the real life history and inspiration for them as well as the other titles in this video. That Voltarre Asylum does not look like the kind of place I would want to visit. It looks like the type of place that just by being near it, bad things begin to happen to you upon returning home. Anatoly Moskvin was something else. I heard of human taxidermy being done by Jeffrey Dahmer, Charles Albright, and Ed Gein, but this guy was on some pedo and necrophilia stuff. 😮😅😬 This reminds me of the DLC for Heavy Rain, aptly titled The Taxidermist. I don't know if you've heard of or played it, but it supposedly took place two years before the events that occurred in the main Heavy Rain game. Madison Rayne, who was voiced by a different actress at the time, was investigating the Origami Killer and got a tip that led her to a potential suspect. However, when she went to the guy's house to interview him, he wasn't there, so she snuck in his house, and ended up getting more than she bargained for. Long story short, while he wasn't the Origami Killer (we found out who he was by the end of the main game), this guy was a literal lady killer and had a house full of taxidermy stuffed animals and stuffed women that he dressed up in different outfits after their deaths. The Taxidermist DLC had 5 endings where Madison either escapes the house without being seen by the killer, she kills him after being seen, she calls the police, she gets killed by him before the police arrive, or she gets killed by him and is never heard from again, the latter of which would eliminate her existence from the main game. I never did any research on it, but after watching the part of the video about Moskvin, I'm convinced he's the inspiration that David Cage and Quantic Dream used for that character and the setting for that DLC. Oh yeah. Who can forget about Lady Dimetrescu from Resident Evil Village? She was arguably the most memorable character in the entire game. She was beauty meets creepy, then she transformed and became straight hideous. They had mods of her in revealing outfits that would make Eve from Stellar Blade blush and the fly swatter mod where you could sneak up on her and smack her derriere. 😂 I heard she and the game's setting were based on real life, but I never knew the extent until now. All the games you covered in this video just goes to show that reality is oftentimes stranger than fiction. Speaking of which, have you played Senua's Saga 2: Hellblade? I think I liked the original slightly more because it was slightly longer, but this new one is amazing. It's Much definitely worthy of the 8-9/10 scores it's been getting. It has the intensity of the first game mixed with the psychosis of Alan Wake 2 or Evil Within. Like Stellar Blade, Bloodborne, and Lies of P, parrying is of the essence. Although I have an Xbox Series S and a PS5, I mostly play and buy games on PS5. They made this a PC and Xbox exclusive, which was disappointing at first because the first game was on PS4 and PC before being ported to Xbox the following year. Either way, it gave me a reason to dust off my Xbox Series S and play for free since it came with my Game Pass subscription and I was not disappointed. Plus it's easily one of the best looking games out there currently. Critics praise the Senua series for how it depicts the main character battling and overcoming schizophrenia in the form of mythological beasts. It makes me wonder if people who battle schizophrenia and other mental health issues actually see creatures in their minds. If so, while not a conventional horror game, it can be argued that this too is inspired by real life. On another note, what if anything are you playing right now? I just beat Senua's Saga 2 last weekend, so I'm taking a quick break from playing games right now. It looks like my bank account and wallet can take a break too from any game purchases this month. LOL! The only thing I might consider buying is Shin Megami Tensei V: Revengeance because I missed out on the original games and from what I can see, it looks like a Persona type of game, of which I'm a fan.

Hey @Ebrant_3rd, so far, so good. Thank you, and hope you are doing well too. Glad you enjoyed the video, good to know people enjoy what we do. This video was a special one for us. When we came up with ideas, it was interesting to find out how many are based or real life. There are plenty of good Netflix documentaries for you, haha. See what you mean about the asylum haha. It is crazy what people are capable of doing sometimes. Never played the DLC of heavy rain no, do not tend to play dlcs very often, must admit. It does sound like a very interesting dlc definitely. You, Never know could have been. She was from the first trailer of Resident Evil 8 game, you knew she was going to. Did not know about them, mods either haha. The joys of playing on a PC. No not at the moment, Keep hearing mixed things about it. Hoping to get on PS5, currently do not own an Xbox and always prefer to play on a console rather than pc. Thats one of things xbox is a lot better at however, the gamepass is the best subscription for games currently. You are very right; visually, it looks amazing. Just Platinumed Helldivers 2, was very fun, especially when playing with people you know. Going to attempt the platinum for stellar blade next. Haha do not blame you, and with the recent state of play, looking forward to a couple games, especially Astro Bot game.

@HotFix_Gaming I'm glad to hear that you are doing well. Yes I am too. Thank you. Oh cool. I could tell you all put a lot of thought and research into this video. You're right. That's one of the things I always ask myself time and time again when watching crime related videos: how can someone be so evil and commit such heinous acts against their fellow human? Yeah I understand about not really playing DLCs like that since the content should be included in the game in the first place rather than having to pay or have episodic content added later. Lol! While I've never been a PC gamer per se, I am always amazed by the visuals as well as some of the content other gamers and developers are able to come up with. Growing up, I've always favored Sony and Nintendo consoles. The Xbox One X was my first time purchasing a Microsoft console and this Series S is my second round with them. I read somewhere that Microsoft plans on exiting the gaming industry if Game Pass subscription counts and demand for more exclusive titles doesn't increase. I guess that isn't all too surprising when seeing they're porting a lot of their exclusives to PC and PS5. Congratulations on getting Platinum on Helldivers 2 and Stellar Blade. Helldivers 2 turned out to be a great game and took a lot of people including myself by surprise as the first game was a top down, tactical shooter looter whereas Helldivers 2 is reminiscent of Outriders mixed with a third-person version of the older Call of Duty games. I have a handful of trophies to get before reaching Platinum on it, and I have to get the bad ending for Stellar Blade to get the rest of its trophies. I might do that next weekend and then start on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth since other than Shin Megami Tensei, nothing really interests me in June or July. I'm looking forward to the new Astro Bot game as well. I read that it is slated for a September release along with Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, so I'll definitely be getting those. August is when my antennas will go back up as we have Black Myth: Wukong and Star Wars Outlaws releasing.
