I rode this today. I'm pretty sure only one of these cars works now because I tried for a while to get one of the other cars but I always got the same one. Also a fitting title.

wouldn’t be surprising if Schindler got their hands on these again.
@EvergreenElevators Жыл бұрын
fun fact: it was confirmed by a Schindler technician that 700A is a false term. Schindler tractions of this era never had a true codename.

I refuse to use parking garage elevators. I've never seen a nonproblematic one ever. I feel awful for those who need them.
@mitchellarmstrong3759 Жыл бұрын
These are problematic in more ways than one. Whenever I go here, I take the stairs or the escalator. I don't think having them outside helps with how they run .

The elevators inside the Target store seem better than these ones outside. Those are unknown brand (to me) hydraulic elevators with Adams/EPCO fixtures. A quite unusual thing about them is the fact that they have 2 sets of doors. One set is where you get in, and they let you out the other side. They are one of my childhood elevators. A few others that are nostalgic to me are the Seattle public library elevators (unknown brand, big rectangular buttons) the thyssenkrupp?? elevator at Whole Foods Market in South Lake Union, (which is for some reason a glass elevator in an enclosed shaft, but only the very top floor has a view.) and the glass elevators at REI co-op near I-5, which I think are Thyssenkrupp Impulse, and the elevators in the north garage at University Village, which once made animal noises corresponding to the letters of the garage floors. (B for bear, C for cow, D for dog, etc, maybe they still do?)

they are called shitlers for a reason, right? There is a Schindler 400a at a parking garage I've been to but one of them has been broken for Months. And the package garage is maintained by my 'city with my city's department logo on the out of service sign! They are actually really nice and fast Schindler's

I like these elevators, but they need to be maintained properly EVEN MORE because they shake a little to heavily.
@inactivechannel2938 Жыл бұрын
These need some TXPress. And some better maintenance.
