It stands for Secure Contain Protect and the SCP foundation finds all these different crazy creatures they designate as "SCP Number so&so" and go into all the crazy things each 1 can do and how the Foundation keeps them locked up and everything. It's fictional, as far as we know! 😮 lol it is really interesting once you go down the rabbit hole though and if you're interested in more SCP stuff there's quite a few channels on here that do stuff like have animations describing different SCPs and what they can do and what they have done, its really interesting even though it's not real lol

In an alt universe some of these scp could actually exist just like mythological creatures could. I believe mythological creatures either passed into our reality or people crossed to theirs and that is where the stories came from about dragons, unicorns, and other creatures.

Before clicking on this video, i had NEVER EVER heard the term "SCP" (acronym, whatever). BUT! I kid you not, im holding my phone sideways, watching on full screen with my son, never once did my fingers change position or touch fhe screen..... So as we're nearing the end of the one about the app downloaded on phone that "must be watched within every 90 minutes or the creature appears in real life, bla bla"... My phone just kept on rewinding back!!!! Happened 3 or 4x, as we're just trying to get to the next # on the countdown! The first time he insisted my finger moved. Which it did NOT. No touching of the screen in any way. The second time we thought something was malfunctioning. But the 3rd & 4th time? No way! Made it a clear point to be completely still, fingers nowhere near screen (as they hadnt been all along anyway). Still don't know what these are, but gotta admit that's really bizarre

​@trishlong7702 no they are anomalous items/people that have special properties and the SCP is the organization that is supposed to keep them from the public. its an immensely deep lore that started on reddit and now has everything from KZbin videos to video games about it as far as what SCPs are theres everything from chicken noodle soup that turns you into a chicken if you eat it cold, to Lovecraftian deities that can end all existence, to videos games able to make you a genius, to tiny mechanical crickets that burrow into your brain and take control. there's literally thousands of diverse scps at this point, each with their own lore and backstory. anomalous item are assigned a number and threat level once contained by the organization . thats why you hear her use SCP-### and terms like ketter class.
