It was a 14 year old girl here in Peachtree city Georgia who started a fire inside a Walmart about a week or so ago. They had to close the Walmart temporarily, because it was severely torched from the inside.

I used to work at Walmart and my team lead got suspended over making statements about having a gun in his car. Long story short, he was making these statements whenever he was around two other employees that he didn’t like. It was only around them when he would say these things so they reported him. Shortly after, he was suspended but not fired. This happened this year, 2022 around summertime. Even with all the shootings going on, Walmart did not take this seriously. When I heard about the recent Walmart shooting and read further details about the shooter, it reminded me of what happened with my old team lead. Crazy. Walmart needs to take shit more seriously.

I used to work at Walmart and I was stocking the shelves in the infant section one day and got knocked down by a group of police running past me. Turns out they were heading to the electronics department where a member of the FBI most wanted was hiding there swinging around a machete. They didn’t evacuate anyone. We’ve had the power go out plenty of times too and management just tells customers to leave and pushes the employees to the front to wait for it to come back on. If it takes too long we have to empty all of the coolers into boxes and move them to the freezer in the back.
