Have lost 3 Terro Garbage Guards due to it’s failure to adhere securely to the can lid. Have cleaned lid surface as instructed but after 1-2 months falls off into the garbage. Even used more double stick tape. Should withstand the garbage collection and resident use.

Gorilla glue makes a double sided tape that's ridiculously strong. That should work.

@@samnur6957 decided against it due to mess of the permanent residue and difficulty removing it. Ended up tying the cartridge to can in a cheesecloth and string bag. It works . Replace it easily. Ridiculous! Thankyou for suggestion.
