To celebrate 30 years since Terror Tomb opened at Chessington World of Adventures, here's the full length POV newly mastered and unedited sound.
This was recorded during technical rehearsal shortly before the ride opened to guests in March 1994!

This was my childhood!! I grew up in the town of Chessington and have many fond memories of heading down to the park after school (back then CWOA gave out free passes to residents!) and Terror Tomb, alongside The Vampire, Prof Burps Bubbleworks and Dragon River, were my go-to's every visit! The sights, sounds and mostly the SMELLS! 90s CWOA was peak CWOA!

Yeah the smell of like an old tomb! I loved this as a kid, a real egyptian adventure.

I remember when I was really young, my family forced me to go on this ride. I was so terrified I hid my face almost the whole time. It became a lot better and less scary when it was converted into a first-person shooter.

I used to work at CWoA, on this ride for some time. I had some rather unsettling experiences after park close and doing walkarounds around the ride. Sadly, a German Mack worker died during construction of the original ride which adds to the uneasiness whenever we used to walk through it. I'm not saying it's haunted, but..........the fact someone died in there and the experiences I've had...well, let your imaginations run wild! :D

Oh no, how did the worker die? I’m so sorry to hear that… however I absolutely loved this ride as a child and think it’s such a shame it got changed! The suspenseful music, the creepy Egyptian aesthetic, the engaging story, the surprise rock concert at the end… 💀🎸💥 just incredible!! At least we have this video recording of it, the legend lives on…

So many nostalgic childhood memories braking into that tomb with abdab. So wich they would get rid of tomb blast out of this space and turn it into a heavy story line based ride again.

Still the pinnacle Chessington experience along with Prof Bubbleworks. That thing you're meant to put your hand in at the end never worked any of the 3 or 4 times I rode this!
