At the start he was winning, but Terrorblade was just toying with Davion from the start! Terrorblade wasn’t even going all out at all, and was still able to keep up with Dragon God Davion in his regular form, but not his true form! But when Terrorblade finally gets serious, than we’re screwed!

The writers missed a MASSIVE opportunity here. The writer should have made the fight so that Davion pummels Terrorblade so hard that it appears like a super one-sided fight. Terrorblade should have been beaten so bad that he’s is visibly covered with wounds, bruises, lacerations, broken bones etc. Then just a Davion appears to go in for the final blow, Terrorblade stops him, holds him by the throat, then monologues a badass villian line. Suddenly, you see their essence swapping. You see Terrorblade’s wounds start healing rapidly while Davion suddenly gets the all the wounds that he inflicted on Terrorblade in the fight. Such a genuine representation of Terrorblade’s ultimate ability, sunder, would have made any DotA2 player orgasm.

Spoilers: Absolutely loved this season. It was great seeing what lengths the Invoker would go to just to create his own perfect world. Character interactions, as usual were great; especially loved Davion and Mirana and Luna and Mirana. Filomena was a great addition as well.

*slight spoilers* Overall a great show I just felt like the first two episodes were rushed. The alternate timeline could have been done in a 4th season, but I have a feeling when Valve signed a deal with Netflix they had already decided it was just gonna be three seasons. I think Valve will have future shows about DOTA, but not about Dragon's Blood. This story seemed to have come to an end by the final episode.

Honestly it was great, but the fact that it took one episode to kill terrorblade is a bit of a letdown since he's insanely strong, yet he dies in an episode. I also feel like invoker extending this problem was more like im out of ideas so we extend this story for 6 more episodes to return back to the 2nd episode at the end.

Gotta agree. I enjoyed most of the show but at the end of this season it felt like I'd just watched 2 seasons in 1. Didn't mind the alternate timelime storyline and I'd even say it's one of the very, very few times I've liked how the whole "what if" scenario was handled, but with so little breathing room between 2 massive threats it ended up as more jarring than intriguing (at least until Filomena talks to Terrorblade, which managed to make the rest of the season feel more like one compact arc).

I mean, it took 25 minutes and EVERY single character's full strength to defeat him. Unlike Game of Thrones where she stabs the knight king once and it's GG. I really liked that they didn't stretch the fight out. Gave it just enough time

I didn't feel that at all. I felt it was just right. The battle was really long and really tense on at least three occasions, but it wasn't drawn out too much. Plus, it's not like he was set up and killed in the same episode. This has two seasons of buildup.
