as a French person i would agree with all of the statements, all of the "cake snacks" we have are basicaly the best. the candy is above average but theres still better at some other places, however when it comes to crisps or any salty snacks, we suck. (but we're still better than the US so that's good enough)
@shainaboutant49564 ай бұрын
Well I don't think so. Genre il y a beaucoup de chips que je trouve incroyable comme les Bret's. Même les snacks salées il y en a qui sont bons, donc je pense que ça dépend de la préférence des gens.
@potrelviewer95362 ай бұрын

Population has a part in how food is handled in countries. The US has a high population. Which tends to cause more production in food, and then a lot goes to waste because too much ends up being made. So, having these preservatives allows these foods to last a bit longer and less goes to waste. And that's basically what everything is. It's all preservatives, some ingredients also doubling as "addictive." Not really addictive, but just stuff that can make the food taste better and make you want more. So, unfortunately, I don't think this stuff is going anywhere. Especially when people make a living off of producing all of the MAIN ingredients that go into these. Prices would end up rising more for food.

Wait.. doesn't Brian live in America now? Yet, the first few minutes he is already talking shit about America. Also, what kind of chips "crisps" are you buying. When I have the thin ones from lays, they're always soft, the ones with the ridges are a tad thicker and meant to be eaten with dips, so yes they're not as soft. Tortilla chips again are meant for dipping, so not as soft. Lastly, just a friendly reminder that the Lays is an American brand. I wonder if you do this in any country you visit.....get there and proceed to constantly talk shit about the food, the way they say things, their culture, religion, the way they go about doing things and so on. Mentioning your distaste towards anything American is fine if done in moderation, but you do it so often that I have to wonder if you even want to be in the states.(If you are still here) You should learn to adapt to your surroundings while keeping an open mind and be content if not happy, or don't do that and feel horrible about you choice to live here. The other option is to just leave if you dislike it here so much. Js
