We did something exactly like this yesterday. We stowed away on an island in our galleon while one guy tucked away. We waited for 2.5 hours for the galleon to finish the fort. We ended up having an alliance with another sloop that was tucked away on the island. We chanced the galleon that took the fort key and sunk them. We all ended up returning to the fort while under heavy fire, opening the vault. I went to open the vault on my own but I got jumped by one guy with a blunderbus. He ended up hitting a gunpowder barrel outside the vault and blowing up EVERYTHING. all the bowman barrels and the stronghold ones made such a massive band it was like Hiroshima. We all ended up taking everything to an outpost and cashing in at 3:00 in the morning. 10/10 would do again.

FOTDs are so rare now, I just do whatever I am doing and try to get the flames along the way, stop by an outpost to cash in whatever I am doing and pick up a ritual skull. Start it and leave. Its quicker than server hopping for over an hour. (which I have done before) I still cannot believe the amount of FOTDs you get. I have also been here since only a couple thousand subscribers.

Another story for ya Mason! So me and my friend decide to do a fort of the damned. Half way I find a Tucker and kill him. We keep truck in through and find the Tucker has exploded our ship. My friend tucks the island while I get the new boat over. He kills the guy I get the new boat back and we finish the fort. Turns out guy was tucking in a bush and blew up the nuke barrel but it kills him in the process. We get all the loot onto the ship and sail to reapers hideout planning to sell our reaper chests their then go to golden sands outpost. Tucker guy was waiting at reaper outpost we drop a gilded reaper chest by accident trying to carry it out of the crowd nest he sells it while I sell our other reaper chest. He chases us for a half hour of us jumping of and selling important chests and skulls when he makes an alliance with us when we were getting desperate. We sell the remaining mermaid gems and crates and my friend and I retire by burning the boat and vowing to never do a fort of the damned again.
