" How come Joy doesn't get to talk?" Bloody good question. And if she's just there to be eye candy at least include more shots of her. The directors of this show are letting it down. At least here however they "almost" have the interviewee at eye level with Colin. The standard set is a visual nightmare.

Terry Bradshaw was my favorite player as a kid. I tried to throw the ball like he did, but I couldn't. I had a Sports Illustrated poster of him in my room. Terry is absolutely right about Bert Jones who played for the Colts as rifle arm. I've watched every Quarterback play since Norm Van Brocklin and nobody and I mean nobody in the history of the NFL could rifle a perfect spiral bullet right on target as Jones. I thought he would have a lot more years. Yeah Bert Jones as a pure QB he ranks top 3 with me.
@jamesdavis87313 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is sad for me to think about Bert Jones. He was my favorite player. He was HUGELY talented and if not for injuries would probably be in the Hall of Fame. If Jones played on the Steelers in the 70's he would have won just as many Super Bowls. Think of Jones throwing to Stallworth and Swann - protected by a GREAT offensive line. Harirs and Bleier as RB's. And a GREAT defense to fall back on. Jones was sensational.

@jamesdavis87313 жыл бұрын
My second favorite player as a kid was Lydell Mitchell. My favorite was Bert Jones. Man, Jones was a GREAT player that so many have forgotten about. Shoulder and neck injuries derailed what would have been a great career. If Jones had been the QB for the Steelers they probably would have won more than four Super Bowls in the 70's. Jones was a better QB than Bradshaw, he just didn't have all the talent around him like Bradshaw had.
