10 years gone. My goodness, how I miss this man’s talents. I saw him lots (not enough) times in london in the 90’s and 2000’s, and I can honestly say there was no one I’ve seen as magical.

Man this song is so FULL OF SOUL! You get that muddy, gritty, backwater-sounding baseline front and center. The Latin-Amrricam rhythms of the congas. The trumpets playing their jazzy harmonies. And Terry's soul-filled voice on top of it all.

This Song is a real gem, I heard it and recorded it on tapes in the 80's, but didn't know who the artist was. Then I discovered the "New Sound Of Terry Callier" album in the 90's and realized that it was him. Terry is a great voice, a unique and underrated artist. Bless his soul ! Paix à son Âme !

Also decided it’s gonna be my funeral song too. So taken aback with this song. It’s properly amazing 😉
