Terry makes a shocking revelation to Heather's friends: during a heated argument with his wife, he used the dreaded 'D' word.
From Season 8, Episode 7 'Whines by Wives': Vicki and Tamra have a verbal altercation, which ends the wine-tasting trip. Alexis and Jim are finally able to open their trampoline park. Heather and Terry are in a tough spot after Terry reveals that he threatened to divorce Heather during a previous argument. Tamra believes that Eddie enjoys riding his bike more than spending time with her.

I like how Vicki regrets and acknowledges her own mistakes in her own marriage. She seems to have learn from it and shares responsibility for her marriage issues. I think housewives who get divorced should take notes from Vicki. Never a huge media battle. Amicable, Briana and Michael don't deal with parents fighting via media.

To me, the most clear indication that this is totally fake is the conversation that they innitiate in front of the cameras at 03:24 i.e. after she states that she prefers to keep this subject private. They could've had this conversation e.g. at home, so why worse things by having such conversation in front of the cameras? Deliberate decision that shows how it's actually scripted.

This moment is so meaningful. This is why I’m so crazy about all things Real Housewives. Instead of nasty, mean girl treatment, Vicki injected such valuable insight into this quiet but lethal marital conflict. I’m so SUPER proud of Heather for standing her ground too. How high IQ was it that she said…”I know you love me. I know you didn’t meant it…” but she still recognized that it was punitive behaviour that she would never engage in. And looking smoking hot and regal all at the same time. I love me some Heather Dubrow. Keep reigning girlfriend. ❤️

Apparently the reason Heather left the Housewives is because Terry had an affair and she didn't want it to be talked about on the show, and you know these women they would have been all over that like vultures around a carcasse.
