I liked how he emphasized the importance of connection during the dance and also listening and understanding the structure of the music. That is where the true magic happens

Really great questions Yuri, nicely done! You pulled out some really interesting musicality bits and personal thoughts that I haven't heard Terry mention before. 🔥

I love the idea that Cecile attaches a colour to a song. Quite beautiful. I'm glad Terry puts a big emphasis on connection.

Thank you for doing this; it's so refreshing and inspiring to hear from a legend and the fact that he acknowledges his possibilities of improving with classes yet prioritizing his own rest and recovery. Taking a lot of notes, especially in the beginning where he emphasized the connection, then the music (going to pay attention to the bass more from now :D). There's so many things to learn so will be revisiting this interview to incorporate the advice and insights.

@@salsalanguage just noticed while rewatching it; the audio channels are switched so it felt like yours and Terrys speech was coming from the other side. Maybe next time you could check the audio stereo direction and video and adjust accordingly.

@ what is the time stamp where it happened?

@@salsalanguage Oh it's from the start till end of the video. It's no issue but I just thought to point it out. From my perspective as a viewer Terry is on the right but his voice is coming from the left and yours is coming from the right while being on the left. It's a small detail and I know I'm nitpicking but thought I'd bring it up anyway. Otherwise it's no issue at all; the content is what matters.
