This was a perfect massacre, he humiliated Palfrey in front of his date, left him to pay a tip to the Head Waiter, and following this scene he then sits between them at dinner, charms Palfrey’s date all evening, and leaves Palfrey to pay the bill… all done so naturally and effortlessly, the ultimate “ bounder” and a master of his game!
