Terry Waltz Teaches Circling for TPRS

Learning to ask "circling questions" (repetitive but unpredictable questions) in the foreign language classroom using the CircleUp! card-based training system. The technique of circling new language originated in TPRS, but makes an easy and effective addition to any foreign language teaching situation.
Please note that this is only the technique of deriving and asking the basic circling questions. Circling alone is not TPRS, especially when it's not unpredictable.

2-3 months. As I understand this method, they don’t really need to. Yes or no questions for comprehension check is enough. Speaking is the output, that with enough output and a little bit of practice will come by itself

But you are not telling the students where DOES comes from.

That's right. We don't explictly explain grammar, we use it and make sure students know what it means. Most native speakers cannot tell you where DOES comes from, if you think about it -- yet they are fluent!
