I used to dislike counter-tenors, but Terry Wey has made me an admirer of this classification of the human voice. Beautiful rendering.

Ranhilio Aquino I know what you mean. Alfred Dellar was the most renowned counter tenor back in my day. He was pretty unusual. Terry still has that gorgeous voice with yummy overtones like he had in childhood.

Terry's boy soprano recordings are remarkable for his clean simple approach, which gave the appearance of floating effortlessness. He has carried that into his adult countertenor singing. I agree that his is the most agreeable countertenor I have ever heard or sung with.

I discovered Terry and his little American brother in the Vienna Boys Choir speaking flawless German. He went on to sing STAENDCHEN, mesmerizing the audience. Find that performance of the little American boy with the full mop of hair. Beautiful boy. Beautiful man, Beautiful voice. His younger brother is a musical gift, also.
