Terry - I’m from Minneapolis and I’ve been watching your videos for years. Until this week, I’d never visited the east coast. I only budgeted for one day in NYC on this vacation, and today was the day. Took a ferry in from Hoboken and rode my Surly midnight special around all five burroughs. Finished my visit with a 7 pm full-gas cooker through Times Square. Bungee and skydiving doesn’t even compare to a hotline in Manhattan. I was buzzing with adrenaline for hours. Your city truly lived up to the cycling hype. I can’t wait to come back and explore more territory over a bigger time span. Keep rippin. Thanks for sharing the stoke, -M

god i love all the detail in your work. I just learned - after years of watching ur vids - to really appreciate the hotlinerider-entry, how they tend to ride from behind ya into your sight. So much style and simplicity, totally your thing. I would summon it up with maximal minimalism or simply "the good kind of minimalism". And no, minimalism isnt = no effort. Often it's even more effort, brain effort, convincing yourself to stop, not doing any unneccessary, more focusing on perfectionizing and precieving what's given. like a style, a mood (weathermood forexample), the sounds of the surrounding, the way "how speed feels" on camera. precieving all this and perfectionizing it, that's your USP. Some kind of artsy documentary and delivering feelings and moods just on point. Perfectly ballanced series, you "hotlines", really! Love it what you made out of it and still watching them doesn't feel as if anything has changed. :)

Insane in the membrane. Anyone over 35 should probably have to have a physical before attempting something this non-stop arduous.
