Her remake of "I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love" is one of the best remakes ever! She killed it. So talented, gorgeous, and severely underrated. The need to do an Unsung episode about her.

Back then (1987-1992) Oakland was on fire in terms of musical talent. You had MC Hammer, Oaktown 357, B Angie B, Tony Toni Toné, Pebbles, Digital Underground, Too Short, En Vogue, 2pac, Damian Dame, Perfect Gentlemen and Del the funky homosapien. All billboard top 100 artists. Oakland barely had a population of 400,000 at the time but had more talent than LA.

B Angie B - THE Queen of Dance! I’ve always been a huge fan and attended one of her shows. She sang live and she was one of the best dancers around. I’ve been searching for a performance of IDWTLYL that she did in the early 90’s on a BET special called Coca-Cola Summer of Stars. It was her best performance, I had it on VHS until I accidentally taped over it with a Vanessa Williams video. Nooooo! I still look for it on YT hoping it will pop up. I’ll never get over losing that amazing performance. If you ever find it, she wore a red outfit and danced so hard, she lost an earring halfway through! Lol Great job! Thank you for this update!
