I'm always impressed of how respectful and realistic the Asian teams are. 369 was the person who recognized G2 in the interviews before the series and he's sticking to it. No trash talking, no boasting for "the next tournament". Absolutely based. Mad respect to our Asian brothers and sisters.

That will be quite difficult because JDG, FPX, NIP and even LNG/Weibo are all contending for worlds, and with BLG locked in already... Yeah that is 4~5 teams competing for 3 spots. Unless the LPL gets a fifth slot (fingers crossed) then TES might very well miss out. JDG in particular is very strong and Weibo/LNG are all upgrading so TES might be very screwed, UNLESS they can go on an insane playoffs run tbh.

This shows 2 things . 1 The pandemic murdered LEC last 3 years because of 0 practice against eastern teams before big events 2 at least LEC 1st seed needs better practice . i would be in favor of winning winter split then subbing the whole G2 team and send the main 5 to asia and perma scrim LPL LCK top 4 like maybe G2 second teams makes top 8 and then g2 can come back for playoffs in loser bracket

@@venomtrue you say that and yet, G2 got stomped by NRG last worlds meanwhile BDS 3-0d GG in a dominant fashion. both outcomes people did not expect. basically what i am trying to say is that the level of both regions is so low (G2/NA 1st seed included) that any of the two regions could win in a head to head because none of them have truly consistent teams, so it just depends on which individual team has the better vibe the day of the match.. mostly. having said that, G2 seem to buck this trend at the current MSI.

Funny, 369 was the one feeding all MSI before today. He got gapped by Oscar and got carried to a win vs FNC by JKL, and then ran it down vs GEN got carried again to game 5 by JKL and Tian. Crazy how the best top in the world keeps having to get carried by overrated players lmao.

Like i am a huge G2 fan but come on, Tes understimated G2, got burned, went into dmg prevention mode and froze not being able to be proactive and match them at all ending with desperation plays because they weren't able to think of a good solution that would save games where they were behind in gold, map and comp, but i wouldn't go as far as calling any of those players not worth what they are really worth, i think arrogance costed them more than anything else this time.

I think the only consistent narrative internationally that almost every single LoLesports fan got right, is that Caps just overwhelmingly gaps Creme. Despite a solo death Caps is simply on another level in terms of practice, experience, and discipline. The rest were a pleasant surprise (if G2 fan) or a very crushing defeat (if TES fan). I think the most surprising matchup difference this game was the two botlaners. What an awesome timeline we live in, sad to see TES get eliminated this way, but G2 look so good atm.

@@fubuki7278 Honestly, there wasn't much laning phase going on in the series. Game 1 they went for 2v2 despite a counter match up. Got double killed and the laning phase was over after that. Game 2, who ever called that tower dive just lost the bot 2v2. Game 3 he did alright but team lost on map movement. Overall, it was a team gap. Not necessarily bot gap. He was impatient during mid game but probably the whole team didn't know what to do.

As an LPL fan, you don’t need to apologize. Everytime TES went to an international, the entirely of the LPL falls short. I don’t think the fans want your apology, the fans want you to stop attending these events. It’s gonna be the same story this MSI. Because TES attended, BLG will lose to GEN in upper bracket final and lose to G2/T1 in the lower bracket final. Mark my words. Just disband, I’m so tired of seeing this trash team on stage, what an absolute disgrace.
