Rick, from Punk Rick's Videos, gets a tour of Tesco Vee's toy room! This was originally supposed to be an extra on the "Tesco Vee Tells All! The Untold Story Of The Meatmen!" DVD, but the main part of the DVD was so long, it couldn't fit. Also, I didn't use the right camera setting, and didn't like the way it came out. Plus an audio glitch at the start. But I still wanted to put it out, so here it is.

What a trip. I actually went to Tesco's house with another young punker friend of mine, probably about 33 years ago, I was about 18, remember that he was a collector of old toys. For a young punk like myself, it was rather underwhelming to see one of my idols at home, where he had a normal family, and worked for the phone company ( iirc ). I had some image that because he fronted the Meatmen that he lived in some trashy punk squat littered with beer bottles and garbage like I did at the time, haha. What a great guy, I fondly remember how friendly he was

Way to go Punk Rick! I can’t wait to get a copy of the dvd. I still smile when I think about the short clips my buddy and I made for the “Devil’s In The Details” dvd back when we both lived in Calgary (both of us are back in our hometown of Moncton nowadays). In fact, he just did a tattoo for me that’s Meatmen related (the guitar player on the cover of the “We’re The Meatmen And You Suck” lp). Look forward to your next project.

Thank you very much. I loved the Devil’s in the Details. It’s definitely more professional than mine. But hardcore fans will love the 100 minute, in depth interview. The sales link is in the description of the toy room video.

Amazing.back then the packaging was cooler than the toy.those models are awesome inside and out.i wish they had posters of the artwork on packaging.yeah the colorful robots too.had no clue Tesco was into this.my buddy's old be and opened for the Meatmen in early 2000s in Columbus Ohio at Bernie's.
