This is a joke, right? Hirsch is awful. This match looked like two trainees trying to walk their way through a match. Hirsch couldn’t even land her moonsault correctly, hitting the other girl somewhere around her ankles. She’s also about 4’8” with a gut. But because she does a stagey, phony “Im a UFC a fighter” gimmick, im supposed to care?

@@peterp2153 Leyla Hirsch was literally New Jersey women's amateur wrestling champ in high school. Her style comes from amateur wrestling, not the UFC. It's fine if you don't like her but her gimmick is not "phony." She's an actual athlete and I don't think she has a gimmick beyond referring to her own athletic accomplishments.

Catch wrestling is like freestyle wrestling(freestyle evolved from catch along with pro wrestling) but with submissions. Like her cross armbreaker. That her wrestling style in AEW and other promotion(catch style pro wrestling).

It would makes sense. RR was a legit grappler. And she was trained by Judo Gene Lebell. Who taught her not only judo but also CATCH WRESTLING. The daddy of both freestyle wrestling and pro wrestling.

@@nkhalipholetlogho9566 Shayna Baszler I could see that. Shayna Baszler was also amateur wrestler just like Leyla. Both worked for Wonder Stardom in Japan. Both may gotten training in catch wrestling in Japan. I know Shayna was trained in catch wrestling by Billy Robinson and at the Snake Pit Japan. She admitted she went to Snake Pit Japan while there. Leyla may have also gone there while in Japan. Her style resemble catch wrestling.

Hania is known for being unprofessional, Kelly Klein pretty much left wrestling because of ROH. Lufisto retired, Sonya sort of just disappeared, Taeler and Veda only wrestle on occasion, they barely wrestle anymore

@@rikardorangel708 Money is always the great motivator and KHAN got lots of it and they dont have to wrestle every night. And Ivilsse has the same problem as Hania according to a lot of people but AEW made it work. They just need vets to help to build the division they dont have to be the champs. But personaly would love to see Taeeler with the strap.

Make sense. Heck she even wrestle in the CATCH STYLE of pro wrestling. Catch wrestling is a LEGIT form of wrestling that RESEMBLE FREESTYLE WRESTLING but WITH SUBMISSION. That the style here. And yes both freestyle and pro wrestling evolved from catch wrestling. And yes Benoit was a LEGIT catch wrestler. He was trained by Stu Hart. Who used to learn catch wrestling as a young man.
