Hi Thanks for the video. My screen came with blue wire ( pink in your video) which was spliced into red wire. I even checked and it has power when turned on however radio still has no sound. Any idea why that could be?

Yeah but it has been so long I dont remember how. Cut a wire in the harness but can’t remember which one.

Late to join cruze party, hoping to get a reply. Original mini screen and buttons there serve some other purpose as well in my car as I checked. Apart from date time setting, there are a few car settings as well. My car got key less entry and push button start like some modern cars. You can change behaviour of lock and unlock actions, they are minor things, I can live with default settings, however, the question is does removing that system from affects the functionality? Or since this kit is made for cruze does it support all those functionalities?

I bought this audio system for my Chevrolet Cruze. And I have a question, how do I initialize the audio system because I haven't used the car for two days, the audio system is trying to load and all the time the operation repeats itself and the Android system is stuck.

I did exactly what you did and spliced the P. Cntr into the red wire and still no sound 😢. Pioneer system here

Someone somewhere on KZbin mentioned something about blue wire tapping into blue/white wire. I don't know what that means but I will find out this weekend as I am removing my screen and trying to fix sound on radio. Right now sound works only when i play music over Bluetooth or when I get a call. No sound when i switch to radio. I will post solution if I figure it out.

@@mistrykr I ended up trying different wires till I got it to work. Can't remember now but everything works. The radio antenna connection was real touchy I remember that bat.

Yes it does. The way I had to do it was connect the radio to my car's hotspot, download the app from Google play, then have my phone hooked up to the USB the comes with the new radio. It didn't want to connect to auto at first, after restarting my phone unplugged and then plugging it in once it's on, it finally connected

It should but I don't remember if it's built in or if you have to do similar steps as android. I run on android so I can't test an iPhone, but I can probably check the radio tomorrow for anything relating to it if I remember

@@adamfoster8131 I did start working and I'll be 100% honest, I don't know why it did. It might have been that I parked close to the house and connected the wifi to download offline maps? I'm honestly not sure but it just started working for some reason. Also, I'll say I've taken the stereo out and went back to the factory stereo. Half the time GPS wouldn't work. Sometimes, after Bluetooth started working, it would go days without connecting to my phone again.

@@GaryHicks sounds like a pain in the ass…. All I’m reading is I have to splice some wires together but nobody knows which ones. If the radio works through the speakers I don’t know why the Bluetooth wouldn’t play the same way… dumb

@@adamfoster8131 yeah I didn't get it either. My cousin helped me, he said he spliced a wire into a 12v power wire. But yes it was a huge pain in the ass. With GPS not working 60% of the time, and sometimes not being able to connect to Bluetooth for like a day, I just gave up and took it out. Now idk what to do with it lol.

Did you cut the pink cable or was it like an extra cable? I tried doing the same thing you did and I connected a pink wire that was on its own to the red one and it didn’t work.

Do you know how difficult or correct it is to connect subs to these? I guess the remote wire can be an issue, but the reason just plug in no problem? And the door speakers have rca type plugs that connect to the headunit also?

I just ordered one of these but now I'm seeing people having lots of issues when connecting them to a sound system. I just spent a whole lot of money on subs and amps, soon door speakers too. I'm worried this head unit isn't going to work for some reason :(

Bro you could connect beat to any system I had to buy an adapter for my guy to hook up beat to my stock stereo he put the adapter I bought in the driver seatbelt panel

Hey man nice video I just ordered the same one in your link. I also have the pioneer sound system and I've left a comment on Amazon. The seller responded saying it should work as if I don't have to do any adjustments. Anyway others say not all speakers will work. Do all 9 speakers work on yours? Can I reach out to you if I come across any issues? The seller doesn't seem to be very knowledgeable about the stereo there selling.lol

Got 2014 cruze and my screen is black all the time can play music thru Bluetooth on black screen when car is runing or acc ???
