I can tell you right now that for 60 some odd dollars you’d be lucky to find a shop willing to even look at a car let alone do any work to it. Clearly you paid for an inspection and not any real service work. Better check your receipt cause that’s super cheap for any actual brake work

Dial back the regen braking so you use your brakes more.

You mean use regen more right? Because if regen is in effect you aren't using physical brakes.
