Mine works about 50% of the time. It’s so frustrating that I don’t bother anymore. Having said that the sim I bought doesn’t work with it so I’ve been using it without a sim which works as I say about half the time. If I use the sim out of my phone it works but I need that sim in my phone obviously. I wish it was more reliable because when it works it’s fantastic. I can swap between Waze and Tesla maps having them both running at the same time which I love. Then the added carplay apps I use are great. It’s a shame

I can’t find Wi-Fi on my screen. I connected to Bluetooth and it shows autokit. But no CarPlay screen pops up.

Latest firmware update has resolved the lagginess.Much faster now.

Hi, I purchased the product and unfortunately the Tesla does not recognize it, the Tesla recognizes any wireless network, but the device is not verified, the mobile does recognize the device

No, but it would only work with a sim card

In fact, we now have a T2C 3.0 in the United States that does not need the SIM card version. If you are interested, you can wait. It will be sold at the end of January

It is not a good idea to pair bluetooth to the device and the device to your Tesla. This would introduce noticeable lag when answering phone calls while driving as the audio would now need to go through your phone to adapter device and adapter device to Tesla speakers. I would be curious to know if you have noticed a lag. I think the better setup is to only use carplay from this device to Tesla and directly pair your phone to Tesla via bluetooth.

You can get it from your service provider. You can get a new one or get a clone sim

It's just like using CarPlay in any other automobile. Your iPhone controls the apps and data. This box just allows the interface to be displayed through the Tesla's browser. If you don't want to use it, just unplug the box from the car USB port and close the browser.

You can't drive a Tesla with web browser open for this to work. So this makes it pointless IMO.

You can, at least on my model 3 the browser works while driving and also the video in motion works with this device

It depends on your country - some require the browser to be disabled when in drive.
