If u averaged 489 m/kwh then based on a 123 kWh battery u should get 250 miles on full charge. Not great but expected. U divide batter size (123,000 wh) by your average consumption 489m/kwh That's the best way to see how your doing For this truck around 400m/kwh would be optimal.

@ss-tx-rx28609 ай бұрын
At 14:00 you incorrect stated that you consumed 489 Watts per mile, whereas it very clearly displays you consumed 489 Wh/mi. Watts is an instantaneous measure. 489W consumed over the course of an hour is 489Wh. So you consumed an average of 489 Watts at each instant over the course of that hour. Watts is a measure of power, Watt hours are a measure of energy.

I had a suspicion that the Cybertruck was actually pretty decent and beter than what everyone was saying. Everyone who's got "terrible" roadtrip experience maybe just needs to turn their AC and speakers down. I see many choosing the Silverado EV WT4 over CT due to range and looks. 375 miles vs 250 mile highway range at 80mph which equals 150 vs 250 towing and socially many don't want all the attention/Social +/- opinions. CT could fix but will then need more battery changing entire vehicle balance. Can Tesla use storage under bed for another 75 miles of range? That would swing the tweeners.....for now it's neither for me

I don't think the word "many" means what you think it means, LOL! First GM would have to make "many" of them, which they are not doing, because the battery costs too much to sell profitably. You should think before you speak.

Great review. With a gasoline hybrid car that would have been a 1-stop roadtrip, not 2 stops. Stop length, though would have been about the same, supercharger is equalizing that experience. @ZipZoomZip10 ай бұрын
Tesla over delivered on the range of the Dual Motor (340 miles (with street tires) vs. 300+ miles anticipated), they over delivered on the steer by wire, and four wheel steering, they over-delivered by being able to walk on the tonneau cover, they over-delivered with cooled, ventilated seats and heated steering wheel, they over-delivered with the 17 inches of ground clearance and the speed at which it can raise and lower, none of these things were expected. The price is not $100K and $120K, it's $80K for the Dual Motor and $100K for the Tri-Motor Cyberbeast. You are quoting the pricing for the Special Limited Edition release versions that come with about $15K worth of extras like FSD, home charger and some vehicle to home backup power capability.

it was suppose to be 500 miles start at 40 to 60k price...... and what ever happen with that 20k car he unhoused before the cybertruck???@@ZipZoomZip
@ZipZoomZip10 ай бұрын
No, the 500-mile version was anticipated to be priced at $70K, not $60K. And the current Foundation editions come with a bunch of extras like FSD, Wall Connector and home backup gateways. When demand levels out, and production increases, you will be able to buy just the truck, without the extra hardware and FSD, for a price surprisingly close to the reveal pricing (considering the high inflation rates over those years). Of course, back then, before Covid and before massive price inflation, the Cybertruck was not anticipated to have four-wheel steering and steer by wire for nimble handling and extra stability making high-speed lane changes. Tesla also added cooled/ventilated seats. It offers compelling value, once the product is ramped to high volume. This is what has competing interests worried, and why we are being bombarded by so much anti-Tesla, anti-Cybertruck hyperbole on a daily basis. But new owners are blown away by their Cybertrucks, even if they are still paying a high "early adopter" tax. It's an industry changing product that has oil companies worried. @@TheMamonti1
