The factory looks good bathed in white snow. Fired up my 28" snow blower today to be ready for the eventual snow fall here in Kansas. Any speculation when when Giga Berlin will get the final permit to start testing/producing cars? Great video.

There are some rumors about the final approval to come this or next week. Some automotive magazines reported that 5 cars were produced in Berlin but there is no confirmation about this. I don’t think that volume production is going to start in this year.

Vielen Dank! Ich habe eben festgestellt, dass die Box bei 16:30 ein Startplatz für automatisierte Drohnen sein kann, z.B. für die Vermessung und Überwachung. Also Konkurrenz für mich ;-)

Sie werden die Drohne sicher zur Überwachung des Werksgeländes nutzen. Nur mit Videokameras ist es langsam zu Groß. Siehe auch bei dem Wetter heute z.B. Aber ein SUPER GERÄT. Würde ich schon gerne bedienen wollen !!!

Would be nice if a drone could somewhere fly into the building :-) It would be interesting, how far the production lines are set up. From how the place is looking outside the building, I can not believe that inside it is very far ahead. Does anyone knows it concrete? I would guess building the production lines until everything works and is established, including people training etc., it would take at least half a year until a meaningfull amount of vehicles can be produced.

They had an open visitor day in the main tract a couple of weeks a go. Casting, press, paint shop and assembly line are pretty much done, they've started limited test production and do a first low-volume production once the permit is there.

Yep Brandenburg sure is in drought. In Australia a drought means that there is no rain for years and years. Seems like we are getting told alot of BS. Now this snow will slow things down even more if that is possible

@@madeingdr-g4w Ist schon klar das du dieser Meinung bist aber ich muss dich enttäuschen, es ist Schwachsinn. Tesla baut mit Teil-/Vorabgenehmigungen, baut am Rande eines Trinkwasserschutzgebietes mit harten Auflagen. Tesla kann nicht machen was sie wollen, sie werden streng überwacht und es gab auch schon Baustopps weil sie von den Auflagen abgewichen sind. Tesla baut auf volles Risiko und im Falle eines Rückbaues trägt Tesla die vollen Kosten und nicht der Steuerzahler. Und was den Wald betrifft, das ist reiner Nutzwald. Der wurde von Anfang an gepflanzt um später als Nutzholz gefällt zu werden. Das hat mit natürlich gewachsenem Wald nichts zu tun. Egal ob da gebaut wird oder nicht und egal wer da baut, der Wald wird gefällt. Also schreib keinen Blödsinn/Schwachsinn sondern bleib bei der Wahrheit.
