Really love the extra perspective your videos bring Brad! While the rest of the Quad squad provide differing variations of detail for the whole site, you really dial it in to a few interesting long-duration activities that really let us watch these guys work. Thanks again for what you do.

Thanks Brad! 1:00 those big blocks of foam... never seen earthwork done like that before. Probably pretty common, but it's new to me.

The foam has almost no weight. It doesn't exert pressure on the 20 foot high wall.

Love this update... 1:44 proverbial seven guys standing around, one guy using a shovel! I think it's shaping up great but still impatient for final grading to be done

Tesla has changed its plans several and that is why it is taking longer but, doesn't have any effect what is going on inside the building. Hopefully cars will be coming out this month. Hard to tell from the outside but many parts are being delivered each day.

Great video Brad. I'll note that there was another drone video put up that was shot a half hour before yours. That video was twice as long and had about one fourth the info. Keep up the good work.

By the guy that has decided to make the worst videos of this project?
@BTSflyer2 жыл бұрын
My videos are shorter because I don't shoot one continuous shot that eat up a lot of time flying from one subject to another. I just concentrate on the action.

At 1:11 and 4:50 I'm puzzled why they lined the trench with the black material when the other drain pipe trenches had just sand or gravel. It's already apparent that the pipes and the lined trench are going to be covered with dirt.

Could be different underlying soil conditions or there could be some code compliance requirements for the discharge outlet to a pond. Not sure, but if they spent the money on it, i'm sure it is necessary.

The geotextile fabric is to separate the dirt from the gravel to keep the gravel from just sinking into the dirt. That soil has been disturbed and even if you pack it settling can still occur. So the fabric is just a layer of protection.

I was also thinking about it, it might be because Phase 2 might be built over those pipes
