This is fantastic. You are the kind of people they need on the Mars Mission. I cant say how highly I think of your work on this project. If you see how fast the motor will go that would be interesting.

Alas, the whole jig has been disassembled for storage. It no longer has a motor.

Looks like the car I slaughtered. We took everything electrically out of the car and put it together on a wooden frame. We check that everything worked. Then we started removing one thing at a time to see if the system warned. It would be a boat with two Tesla engines and 4 battery packs. the wires to the driving light would turn into lanterns, etc. but there was a lot we did not need such as window lifts etc.

Now this is a real hands on how it works experience That would make one hell of a Segway scooter

Sorry for uploading this twice - there were some issues with the original one that I missed when checking the rendered file!

Sadly, it's likely to get sold or disassembled quite soon. Cool as it is, the whole thing is quite ... large.

Are you intending on tidying up the wiring looms, or is it not really worth it? I get annoyed enough sorting out wires and cables in the workshop room. This Tesla would give me nightmares. lol
@FFcossag2 жыл бұрын
This thing shouldn't really be tidy - its purpose is to be accessible for testing. Tidying everything up would sort of ruin the point of it.

Well it certainly would be a great part tester platform. scrap a Tesla and plug all the modules into this and see if it works. Very wild to see it like that though!
@FFcossag2 жыл бұрын
It is absolutely wild! When we first got our hands on it we had NO idea what would become of it. The auctioneers had no idea what they were selling, so it was a complete shot in the dark.

Tesla swap one of your 205s
@FFcossag2 жыл бұрын
Heh, alas, that would completely ruin the 205. They weigh about as much in total as a Tesla battery pack does! That said, I do have plans for something else ...

It certainly is a very rustic looking Model S, almost like it was built by a British independent "car" maker that refuses to acknowledge the existence of metal... :P

It's a tesla wagon ... in the 1800s sense of the word.

Totally off topic, but is the laptop on the right a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i?
