Great Install, I love it and I bet it sound awesome in the car. I am running the Thesis 3-ways in front and am planning on adding another Thesis Tweeter and a Focal (2-ohm) woofer in the rear to get a similar set-up... Amps: APF8.9 & APF1D.. Where are you located Lance???

Hello Lance, did you notice a drop in Battery range? If so What’s the maximum power (RMS) you recommend to run safely for a electric vehicle?

I was on vacation last week and other departments worked on it while I wasn’t there. There was some drop in range while I worked on it, but that was over week.

Looking great! Running the subs in that configuration off of one 1/10 was able to bring most of the performance out of them? I'm trying to choose a amp configuration for the same speaker setup as this car (front stage + subs). Was planning a 1/10 for each subwoofer, but if this setup works well the difference in cost might be put to better use elsewhere. How did the customer react to the finished setup? :)

Yeah. The one Mosconi amp performed awesome. If 2 amps are in the budget, then go for it. The customer loved it. The DSP help.

When ppl do audio modifications like this, does it prevent or bypass any things that are needed by the car to operate properly? Nowadays theres cars that come w/ DSP built into the car's computers. Do those functions no longer work? I know Dirac & Meridian have DSP functions that interact w/ Spatial processing, "imaging" & "Immersion", Bass correction. but will these prevent those functions from working on the OEM computers?

The OEM system will work correctly from the stand points of basic operations. The system that are DSP'ed are usually scaled down as far as the way it works. What I mean is those systems are De-eq, the time alignment is removed to get the best out of the new system. So none of the factory audio factory tricks work to make a the OEM system sound better.

I have a audison sr 4.300 installed in my Tundra. Which audison dsp do you recommend. Also gonna buy hertz components. Be going to California in December hopefully you you can give a quote to install everything.

Audison has a new line of DSP FORSA amps coming out, you should dump the Sr and get one of them... (if in your budget of course)... I'm sure Lance can point you in the right direction...
