Do they require PPF tapes to be applied along the edge of the rim and 3M double sided tapes similar to the Magbak? or simply just csnap on the rims? Do you put foam tapes on it before mount them on the rims? BTW, what's are those rim protectors made of? ABS plastic? Please let me know, I definitely wanna get a full set of them. Let me see where is the link of this product. Thanks

There is a matte black and a carbon color, which one is the closest to the rim color so it wont show you have anything on, the carbon or matte black?

Hi! For the Model Y 20'' Induction Wheel, matte black is the closest to the rim color. For the Model Y 21'' Uberturbine Wheel, carbon grey is the closest to the rim color.

Thanks for the review, mine came with some kind of foam tape so I'm not sure where they are suppose to go. I was also able to find these on Temu and bought them for $25 for the set of 4 using one of the discounts deal that they run.

Does it leave any marks on the wheel? It looked like there were some scratches where it clipped in.

No. But you can for added security. I didn’t find any scratches from the protectors on the wheels.

So odd because their website says.. "Carbon Grey Rim Protector (color fix with original wheel)" meaning to many its the same color as original...? @@ItsDesmond

@@sandyantor let me check the color they sent me. Cause I assume carbon means carbon fiber patterned. But maybe it’s just a branding thing. And Carbon Grey means dark grey. With that said the wheels are definitely black. So we’ll see.

I actually asked the company they said the carbon will match the rims but the black is just black and kinda shows, but the carbon should match perfectly? I ordered almost 2 weeks ago, and the shipment still says it’s in china!!! Honestly if i knew it would take 3 weeks or so, I wouldn’t order from them if you need it in a hurry, they have 1 or 2 i amazon and shipping is like 2-3 days not 1 month I think by next week if i get it hopefully i will let you guys know which color is what, their website says carbon will be a better match and its not the color carbon fiber, time will tell!
