Skillful application, indeed! I have to say, the Matte Iced Blue Titanium looks awesome! And, I'm looking at a video which probably doesn't do it proper justice. Wrapping is versatile for today's cars from what I've seen. I imagine it's been a popular technique for changing your car's appearance for some time. I assume it's fairly easy to remove as well if you want to change up a vehicle's color every so often. I'm interested in getting a Model Y and I was looking at the blue color Tesla offers. However, it seems to be cheaper to get the base white color for free and get the car wrapped at some point with a color I really like. Nice job--two thumbs up.

It just depends on the film. If there was discoloration on the trunk I was ready to pull it and do it in two pieces. I don’t think the Industry standard should be to one piece the model y trunk but that’s my two cents. I just use fishing line on the emblems. I won’t make a video specifically for that but I’m putting out video 1 soon of how to wrap a Tesla which will deal with tools

They don’t sell precut wrap but tbh you don’t really want to have your vinyl precut. Better to cut it yourself. I’m offering one on one training if Interested

I don't know what I'm talking about but if you've seen soapy water it's likely to make applying it easier like wiping it without having resistance against the vinyl.

This is an amazing color but it’s more satin than matte. I had mine wrapped with the 3M satin perfect blue but the this ice blue pops a tad bit more. I had my handles wrapped to make it look seamless. Only drawback to these Teslas is these wheels which I find gaudy.

Satin perfect blue is a great color and I agree. Most matte films from kpmf are more satin except for their absolute matte line which is super matte

great video, what gets me though when people do a wrap, is they still leave parts of the original color inside where the door trims are, and when you open the bonnet, you still see the old original color, why can't you wrap that as well, if you're gonna do a wrap, you do it properly where you DON'T see any of the orignal color. But otherwise good job on the wrap itself.

@@GdayFraz I'm gearing up to do it as a first time wrap project and the efficiency you handled the bumpers blew my mind. Also when to use heat gun and tape. I'd be way over using that if I hadn't seen your work. My biggest concern is the bumpers on my Model 3. I'm tempted to not order a full roll and try the bumper first, but I also thought do the bumper last since I'll have more experience.

@@steveseeger check out my latest time lapse with the yellow car. I use a broom handle as a bumper poll for the rear bumper. It might help you out if you don’t have a second set of hands. For model 3 you’re probably gonna really want to have someone help you get that initial stretch then after that it’s basically cutting. The rear fog lights are the hardest part of the rear and the fog lights are the hardes my area of the front. Masking tape is used for when I want to cut on the car without cutting the vinyl or if I want to easily be able to Lift the vinyl off the edge. Tape is not as sticky as paint

I’m in about as harsh environment as you can get, Arizona. 3-5 months a year it’s over 100F You see tons of wraps out here. You just can’t leave it in the sun all day and a ceramic coating is a must
