The bulk of the bill was for hourly labor. I’m sure if I went to some random janky body shop they’d do an “acceptable” job for less, but I wanted it done properly from experienced technicians.

Firstly, congratulations on having 100 episodes. That is a lot of people sending in their Tesla experience meaning lots of people know you. Next thing I wanted to mention was, these videos are very exciting because something happens all the time and your voice over guy makes it more exciting as we switch through videos. I've been here since video 42 and I've seen how you've grown and yet your videos stay the same entertaining and fun One more thing, your videos are educating to people because it shows what types of idiotic moves on the road that causes accidents. I feel if everyone just had some common sense on the road (And used the lanes on the highway how they are meant to be used Fast, Slow and middle us to get out of people's way that are faster then you.) Oct 2018 Indonesia/Lion Air Flight 610, 189 dead. March 2019 Ethiopia Flight 302, 157 dead. understandably the arrival of the GLOBAL PANDEMIC has now overshadowed the grounding of the 737MAX causing many to FORGET that these two tragedies ALSO just occurred.

(10:00) I am surprised that the police did not take down the make and model of the vehicle, nor attempted to try and get the license plate from additional angles, nor record the time of day to investigate if other vehicles were actually affected… This adds to highlight why Police are not well regarded by some people. The only time one ever really has an interaction with them, is when you are a victim of a crime, or if you are being ticketed for a traffic citation. Which means they are basically the proof you are having a bad day. Then add to that their total apathy for the situation depicted in the video, and it just adds to the ire… …

Yeah, my view of them has been going down lately. Happily busting people for sticking up for themselves, or trying to ward off thieves, but brushing off crime more and more. It certainly dosen't help that more and more cities all around the world are practically inviting crime, with a few current laws against allowing police to pursue theft under $1k - some places under $600... For instance I'm pretty sure LA already allows 1k worth of theft (not sure about property damage, but it has to be allowed if that much theft is un punishable) and they even came out a week ago and said to comply with robbers and thieves (yes, citizens, just give them your stuff, don't fight back!!) That's just an example, LA isn't alone in this crazyness and neither is the US. It s just "let em go, contact insurance and see what they'll do..." Otherwise you are out of luck.

EPISODE 100?!?!? CONGRATS BROOOOO
@MeppyMan3 жыл бұрын
I’m new to the channel, so apologies if this is has been answered a million times... Is the colour grading of the videos just how they are recorded, or is it a style choice of the channel?

Most cameras have four receptors per pixel. Tesla uses cameras with the green filters left off, instead they use a greyscale. The advantage is that without the filters the camera picks up more light and has much better night-time performance. The trade-off is that everything with a green component just looks greyish instead.

You also have to consider that the shots are sometimes using nightvision. They have to adapt to many light levels and situations. And of course the cameras are good, they detect things like animals and humans (i was told the lower end models are not using radar now, only superior cameras for the FSD)
Yes. If you can be seen by people on public property, they should be able to record you as well. I‘m Swiss, and I despise the nonsensical privacy laws here (it’s not just an EU problem).

EU are very strict. You have to cencor everything that (could) contains personal data. That includes Face, licence plates. Especially in Austria and Germany they are very strick and ypu could even go to jail for it.
@RGN3 жыл бұрын
@@alexb__4133 Pretty sure that jailtime isn’t a thing, at least not in Switzerland. Highly doubt that the other German-speaking countries have jailtime as a punishment. Not sure about other EU(ropean) countries, though.

4:37 I like that the Europeans are addressing privacy where America allows corporations to exploit us. But I don't think privacy laws should be designed in such a way as to protect criminals and criminal acts.

The police got the full video as he said so it doesn’t protect him from getting catched it only protects him from people who might do illegal things to him because if this video would be shared with his face on it then some car owners who got their car damaged might recognize him and attack him

Crazy how people talk about electric vehicles catching on fire. I have seen more gas and diesel vehicles on fire on this channel alone. But glad everyone is ok.

Classic fud from the media and some very vested powerful fossil fuel interests. For example in the us alone a combustion engine vehicle catches fire every 3-4mins. That's for just privately owned ice vehicle's and per the latest nhsta&ntsb 2020 stastics. Where is the media outrage I say? 🤔
