None of the comments are actual hurtful hate towards anyone and I can really feel the good vibes in this “fanbase/community”, I wished my generation would be like that haha

My Brother and I were in our mid twenties summer of 1987, we were building a big house with an Ocean view in the middle of a stand of Redwoods in Little River, California. We would drive up from the Bay Area every Monday morning and drive back every Friday afternoon. We used his little Datsun 210 Sunny to commute to and from! It had a Blaupunkt cassette player and we had just bought the Tesla “ Mechanical Resonance “ cassette tape at Tower Records in San Francisco ! We wore that tape out that summer! Driving through the coast mountains, then along Highway One along the Ocean twice a week through the beautiful California summer, jamming to Tesla, smoking good old California Sinsemilla (oops you shouldn’t know that)! Good times young man! Glad you’re able to enjoy some real Rock & Roll! Pass it on! How’s that for a story!

Many bands sounded the same back then. But not Tesla. 2022 59 year old and still loving their music. 🤗

Phenomenal job of singing by Jeff Keith in this song! Gave it everything he had! See 2:55. Occasionally you'll see him cover his ear with his finger 0:58. Reason for this is he's blocking the sound from the surrounding instruments so he can hear his voice better and stay in tune with the music. Mariah Carey did this a lot too. I saw Tesla at a small club in Ft Myers, FL in the mid 90's. Tommy Skeoch was not with them at the time so Frank Hannon was the only guitar player that night. I was expecting a stripped down sound due to only one guitar in the band. I was wrong! They sounded huge! Frank Hannon tore it up! He was amazing! The band sounded amazing! After the show, we sneaked to the back parking lot of the club to where the tour buses were parked. Got to meet Jeff Keith & Brian Wheat (bass player.) Friendly, down-to-earth guys who hung with us for half an hour. Always loved this band!

As much as we love hair bands, he wouldn’t have it, he stuck by his natural hair and natural talent !!!! He is one of the only ones that can still hold true to his high notes. Pure talent!

Modern Day Cowboy...but don't let the video ruin the song for you, if you watch it only watch it once. I just remember thinking "Dude Looks Like A Lady" when I saw it.

These are MUSICIANS. Each and every one of them. How I miss having a buffet of true compositions to listen to on the radio in the 80s.
