Forget about saving money (vs. a gas car) because the upfront cost is high, and insurance is high. So not a penny you can save. The shock observers are very stiff, so the ride is rough. But technologically advanced, spacious, very good car for cities. Buy a hybrid car so you can enjoy both worlds.

சூப்பர் தல ! டெஸ்லாவை விட பெட்ரோல் எஞ்சின் கார் சிறந்தது! பெட்ரோல் என்றால் நிரம்ப 2 நிமிடம்! ஆனால் டெஸ்லா அடிக்கடி சார்ஜ் செய்ய வேண்டும்! சவாரி அனுபவிக்க முடியாது! இடையில் நின்றுவிடும் அபாயம் உள்ளது! மொபைல் போன்ற பேட்டரி சதவீதத்தை எப்போதும் சரிபார்க்கவும்!

such a hassle to keep on charging ...I guess petrol car would be good option for long distance and tesla for medium distance travel

If you commute to work any number of days a week and if your company has free chargers which most of companies do, it is an excellent buy. I save about $2500 every year in CA with occasional interstate trips. You can hate Elon but not tesla as it has made some excellent products.

@@americathamizhan Not you but I see a lot of hate towards Tesla and in general towards EV. People need to be educated on the benefits to make a positive impact. I have driven it for 7+ years and now my gas car sleeps in the garage as it does not make any sense even for long trips with family.

@@americathamizhan Superchargers will help reduce the range anxiety. It's also good to take breaks during trips. I agree the infra is not developed for remote areas but most hotels have chargers now a days. India is a whole different story I guess.

என்னைக் கேட்டால் மின்சார வாகனங்களில் நீண்ட தூர பயணம் மேற்கொள்வது ஒரு விதத்தில் நல்லது தான். ஒவ்வொரு 200 கிமி பயணம் செய்த பின் நல்ல ரெஸ்ட் எடுக்கலாம். இங்கு இந்தியாவில் தமிழ் நாட்டில் தான் மக்கள் EV car மீது அதிக அளவில் நம்பிக்கை இல்லாமல் இருக்கிறார்கள். அண்டை மாநிலமான கேரளா மிக வேகமாக ev adoption இருக்கிறது. அதே போல் வட இந்தியாவில் குறிப்பாய் NCR region, பஞ்சாப் ஹரியானா போன்ற மாநிலங்களில் அதிக அளவில் எலக்ட்ரிக் கார்கள் உபயோகத்தில் உள்ளது. ஒரு சிலர் 2 இலட்சம் கிமி வரை எந்த ஒரு பெரிய அளவில் பிரச்சினை இல்லாமல் உபயோகித்து வருகிறார்கள். EV car is a baby compared with 150 years of ICE engine. It's evolving and most of the Research and development activities are happening in this segment. I am pretty sure and confident that it will mature very fast. Subscribed your channel simply for the reason that I am an EV car enthusiast.

You can save more if you have solar panel (not as offgrid but ongrid).. In that scenario Tesla can save you lot of money. Hyper chargers are sure costly as they keep profit % more as tesla was loss before. House charging is very cheap and solar charging is way cheaper.

House charging and city drive is not an issue at all.. long travel is a major concern.. moreover it’s no more a premier car.. I spend 70k for this .. now it’s 40k.. lost value on the brand

@@americathamizhan any new technology will have issues, let it be smart phone when Apple introduced, "very limited Ram" of Samsung galaxy initial smart phones where every opening camera will get memory full. The tech is developing, long travel is sure a issue for now. Charging speed will improve once Euro 7 or similar american regulation comes in practice, The thing is you dont need to "Replace your car" hereafter rather keeping for "generations". People replaced their ICE cars because 15yrs is their Govt norm regulation so they have to scrap compulsarily, that depriciates the value and also maintenance increases over time. People who dont want to maintain their ICE will sell their cars, that eventually became a market. But over here, the objective is you have to keep your car Ethernal just that you need to replace battery and motor when needed, suspension when it goes down.. thats it! But keeping it eternal is the concept. (Thats what corporate of car companies scared because people wont buy car anymore rather battery only which is curse to GDP). Currently, as you said long travel is issue which people working for faster charging, so lets wait(just that new tech wont support the same battery chemistry and charging sys). But above all these The main concern for EV is not saving money Rather to save the Environment where you can take Bronco which has 5kmpl which is soo bad to environement. India's 1.4billion population is not even equal to what America emits carbon equivalent emissions. So thats the main concern. Focusing on Renewable energy is atmost. So pls prefer solar. And this wont help you but your children where their environemnet wont have problem.

Tesla or any full EV is practically meant for COMMUTE to work for vehicle Those were NOT meant for cross state drives , unless owners were willing to spend exorbitant time in recharging between trips Plus, EVs had to be secondary vehicle only Clueless why ppl don’t realize that but blame full EV vehicles

@@americathamizhan super chargers across nation is a marketing strategy - ppl who buy EV vehicles got to know how to use practically Batteries were not dependable irrespective of EV vehicles or even like cellphones - batteries WILL degrade overtime Blaming on long range is certainly not right , coz those will go down every months depending on charging methods
