TO ALL TESLA MODEL 3 OWNER : The problem with black screen or glitch is the computer box, chip or they call the brain of the car. it must be replace asap or you will end up like me paying $2,015 for replacing computer box. The technician or tesla always say to reboot. After owning the car tesla M3P for 5 months my car started glitching or black screen while I'm driving & it happens several times within 2 yrs. Now my car is 2yrs old & over 50k miles & was out of warranty & screen never came back even how many times you reboot, all they said replace my computer box. Since the beginning there was already problem with the computer box of the car but tesla never replace & they wait until your car will out of warranty. The worst is tesla never put records on the system when I complain black screen & glitching. they said to me there no report in their system. They ask me for evidence that I reported & I got an email with the video that I sent to tesla and still denying & run around. All they said is out of warranty. Total costs replacement $2,015 as today 06/24/2021. Tesla model S & X has a recalled for the chip but model 3 not yet. I Report to NHTSA problem black screen & glitch so that all model 3 owners will not end up like me. New replacement chip or computer box for model 3 warranty is 1 year and 25k miles. After 1 year & 1 day black screen happen, tesla told me that I have tp pay again for the parts. I meet a technician on the road tesla van and I ask how long the life of the computer box or chip for model 3 & he said for his knowledge around 3yrs.
