I’ve just been using baby wipes and a microfibre cloth for about 7 months now (since new) and they have been literal magic. I’ve noticed with other Teslas that aren’t maintained and cleaned as thoroughly have a shininess to the seats and mainly the steering wheel (which will cause bubbling and peeling), but by just using the baby wipes, it’s kept everything looking new and a matte kind of finish to the steering wheel and seats. Just make sure to keep maintaining the interior as if it you leave it for a while, it’ll go all greasy and shiny.

I have been using baby wipes on my Model Y white with very good success…almost. When I watched your video using the Tesla cleaner I also thought it was a gimmick but bought a bottle anyway. My drivers seat shows a very light haze of dirt from my jeans that the baby wipes do not get out. The Tesla cleaner worked great using a microfiber towel to clean the drivers seat it looks perfect. I just ordered a brush from Amazon (thanks for the link) I am sure the brush will make scrubbing out the dirt a lot easier. I clean my seats every month without fail unless I have a very bad spot to clean. My seats look great, like new, after 14 months. Thanks for all the tips.

I know it’s an old video but still very useful. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find Tesla’s Super Seat Cleaner for a long time and my bottle is almost gone. I did find that Chemical Guys Leather Cleaner Spray does a giant job getting my wife’s lotion out of the seats. Followed it up with a leather conditioner and it seems to be a great solution!

I bought the whole Gyeon kit. It has a cleaner and the sealant plus lots of towels to do the cleaning. Love this and other Gyeon products.

I too just cross the 50k mile mark and have the white interior. Yes the seats have so far held up well. The difference is I periodically use Meguiar’s wipes. One container last 8-10 months.

I use baby wipes first, then for most of the rest of the stuff I use window cleaner (non-ammonium formula) and a microfiber cloth. Swiffer dusters for the lint and dust

Quick detailed is not a ceramic coating. That stuff is good for a short period of time. Just reapply as needed

When I bought my model Y with 60K and white seats , the seats had a layer of dirt. Took it to a detailer and he used Koch Chemie Pol Star. Seats look new now and smell great! He then applied a ceramic coating to the seats for protection. LOVE the white seats

use microfiber cloth and warm water... No need for chemicals ! BTW, im staying away from ceramic coating on seats or any other sort of chemicals. remember, your skin is in direct contact with the chemicals thru hot summer days.

Please research a bit more, i think your original thought was correct, ie this is not made by Tesla (product pictures on amazon also dont show the Tesla logo). Doesnt mean its not still a great product, but pretty sure its just not made by Tesla

I'm a bit skeptical as well but got some before it sold out. What's weird is there are now two others, "plaid uv protect" and "ludicrous speed shine". The reviews look generic and weird. The brand link on Amazon (Tesla Auto Care) doesn't go to a brand home at all but links a bunch of random car care products that are definitely not Tesla products, and the 'sold by' link has a very suspect description and reviews about sim cards. @BeardedTeslaGuy I'm all in on trying it if you're recommending it, but I'm curious if you have some source or other info? P.S. my label is different from yours, it says 'formulated for' near the logo. I can send pics if useful...

uh, if your hat is staining seats, I think you should look at the hat you have lol. These seats are not real leather, cleaning them is too easy

@@BeardedTeslaGuy it’s a nice hat lol, I think sweat loosens up the dye and then it bleeds into the seats, leave a used black hat on your seat for a day or two and get back to me on how easy it is to clean
