Just bought one from amazon.fantastic piece of equipment.just a very important note,that the focal distance could be a problem in confined spaces.great to look forward down into an engine cylinder,but when you select the side camera,you will be too close to the threads, an it will be out of focus.only when you are down in the cylinder, there's enough distance to use the side camera and spy on the walls...then everything is in focus ..not a problem,but be mindful of this issue...great piece of kit.

Handy little unit. Would come in very handy in some circumstances. Nice video on the lathe. Yes I saw the chipped insert, good quality video. That hook would be good for retrieving the wife's rings from the sink drain. Nice.

I ordered a similar unit that was supposed to be used on android devices. After downloading the software then I get a message that tells me it will not work with my tablet. I like the idea it is stand alone and does not require a phone or tablet to use it. I am assuming you can download to your pc. If it does support download to my pc then I plan on buying one. It will be a great asset to my machine rebuilds. Thanks for Sharing.

Yes Terry. the unit has a micro usb card you can remove or use the unit as the reader, just usb cable to plug into a computer. Come with the usb cable and micro sd card. Thanks Terry.

This one 8mm. but you can get cameras that are 5 mm and one that will fit down a 22cal bore. Thanks Harold.

This one had a larger of camera 8 mm verse 5mm also a longer lead 16ft verse 10 ft. As far as i can tell.

Do you know if the video recorded is actually 1080p or is it only 720p? Because the specs say both cameras are only 1MP but if thats true then it can only record in maximum 720p, because you need at least a 2MP camera sensor to record in 1080p.
