My fist game with the new buddies was Tess. I 'stole' a mech build from a mech hero. Triple Baron. What a glorious match.

My first match with Tess was vs a Scabbs, Brann, Bigglesworth, and ETC Band Manager. Needless to say, more stressful APM than full pirates. Especially because I had no clue how busted she was. Very fun match tho. It ended with me getting 3 goldens a turn and a hand full of minions, which ended with a full board of 300/300s thanks to Fireworks Fanatic. perfect minion for her. But it seems like her power is highly dependant on who you're up against in the lobby. I had another match vs several heropower-related heroes only and my hero power and Buddy basically couldn't do anything but give 2 gold a turn.

The quality of buddies between heroes are so wide it's a joke. Some are economy powerhouses, some are buffing gods and some has a one-use battlecry that gives you a dragon...

He forgot to mention that if your opponent's buddy is bad Tess's buddy is also bad. Kripp had a lot of luck with his matchups.

But, bad buddys mean picking bad heroes, so in a good lobby with good heroes that have good buddy's tess is good, in a bad buddy lobby, tess is also bad, but than you just don't do this technique

@@hurrdurr78 "Bad buddys" doesn't mean the people or heroes you're up against are bad. Buddies can be awful for Tess, but great for the heroes you steal them from. Like all the buddies that enhance or make use of Hero powers, which are a large chunk of them.

If ETC's in the game, even bad buddies become good, since they're free triples and potentially massive board buffs from the fireworks guy.

@@Tachii31 That only works if you have a good matchup, you might fight against ETC only at the end of the game, or by the time everyone has already sold their buddies and Tess's hero power can't get anything to make it golden. Kripp had perfect timing, he was able to fight against ETC right when he was able to get his buddy and at the same time, ETC's board was loaded.

@@alexsantos2526 If you don't fight ETC until late, it falls apart and you need to play normally. But it doesn't matter if the other players have their buddies if you have a golden Hunter and then another Hunter.

Do you think it could also be semi-intentional? More people react to mistakes to input negativity rather than give congratulations or praise.
