In the book he just goes to far he shows her virgin blood on her sheets from her first time and he knows he loves her at that stage he's just abusive and he's always angry and toxic the movie is more realistic she forgive him he said that before he even knew her or fell for her ... To be honest, even though the movie missed out SO MANY details from the book, I kinda feel like the movie is better. Hear me out In the book, ‘Hardin’ was truly toxic. He threw tantrums whenever he didn’t get his way, used Tessa to distract himself and it was just plain abusive. And in the book, Tessa was straight up judgemental

I watched Part 5 (finally lol) It was soo sad to see him like that. Everything he did flashed back to him & Tess. His drinking was outta control again. It was sad, but a great, happy ending. ❤❤ I binged watch Part 1-5 & after watching Part 1 again, he was so mean to her, rude, sarcasm, & a jerk the first half of the movie. Watching Part 1-Part 5. He definitely truly loved her. In part 5 it was stated they didn't talk/see each other for 25 months & the fact neither of them were intimate in that time frame shows how much they both loved each other. He had so many opportunities to be intimate with other women in the last movie & never did. Was a great movie. I could literally watch them all again. Lol. It was sad to see him like that. A complete hotmess, however the ending was sweet. I cried throughout the movie, like literally cried. Lol. ❤❤
