Sorry to say, but quite honestly, it doesn't seem right to be blaming Scott for the fact that he chose to date someone else and it wasn't Tessa. Probably, the impediment to Scott and Tessa not starting an emotional relationship with a view to starting a family was not in Scott's person, but in Tessa's. And , what probably may have happened is that, with Tessa refusing to make a commitment to Scott with a view to a future marriage, Scott decided to choose another path and started a relationship with someone else, whom he eventually married, and with whom he already has a daughter. And , from what we have read, if Scott introduced publicly his girlfriend in August 2019, Tessa also began her relationship with her current husband, Morgan Rilley, in the same year of 2019. And , in fact, through several interviews given by Tessa , we can conclude that it was probably Tessa who did not want to continue her relationship with Scott with the aim of building a family project with Scott , because Tessa talks a lot about the desire after the 2018 Olympics to turn a page in her life , and follow a new direction in her life. In addition to the fact that each person has the right to make their own emotional choices, both Tessa and Scott deserve to be very happy, because from what we have seen publicly, both Tessa and Scott are two wonderful people, with excellent personality characteristics. So , best wishes for both Scott and Tessa to be very happy in the emotional and professional lives they have both chosen , or who will choose.

Guys, stop making assumptions abouth Tessa and Scott! They´ve been together for more than 22 years and have an unique frienship, build on respect and lots of love for each other!!! I guess you have not been a fan long I am thinking you did not watch the Olympics nor any of their videos if you had you would better understand why fans ship them as being a couple in love. Watch their chemistry between 2015-2018 they were very hands on with each other. Look at the stolen kisses S would give her during a routine. What about the HUG before performances no platonic partners do that. Also, have you heard the things they have said about each other like Scott saying "I can't imagine my life without working with Tessa" or "I did not find skating, I found Tessa" or "No matter what we are together" "no matter what I love you " or " The one thing I don't want to do is to let T down" well these sound like worlds of a man who is pretty much in love with some woman somewhere. Yes I agree let's support their choices it is their choice who they have a relationship with however T and S have been joined at the hip for 22 years they know each other like a married couple. They have had marriage counseling during their career to learn how to get along and how to appreciate each other for what they bring to the table. So this ending their partnership/friendship is like a divorce and they have broken the hearts of fans all over the world. All they talked about Post Olympics in 2018 is their partnership and how they wanted to continue to skate together directing tours like the RTR tour and how they want to take ice shows to a new level well what happened? Something terrible happened between T and S right around June 2018. It is reported they had a major argument and S walked out so it had to be very bad. Sad part fans don't know what and may never know what happened but ending the partnership is one thing however what is hurting their fans is ending their friendship. That amazing loving and caring for each other staying together no matter what friendship is over. It is so sad that this beautiful story of their 22 year career with their struggles, their hurts, their disappointments along the way skating their way to Gold has ended in shambles. Their journey, their road to Olympic Gold was so beautiful and yet the ending is tragic. It is reported they are not even talking or being a part of each other's life this is insane. Fans all over the world are disappointed in their deciding to separate. Sad also is that future Olympians will read their story and wonder how could this end story of two people who skated so amazingly and truly connected and loved each other end so sad. Let's face it the reason why Virtue and Moir changed ice skating is because their chemistry was real and fans felt they were connecting on an intimate level for sure. When they began to connect with each other on this kind of level it took them all the way to Gold. They skated for each other. They chose the right music for their final skate in 2018 Olympics Moulin Rouge they did say they felt a connection to this music and story line. It is definitely their story. My thoughts only.

Who are you, a person close enough to them to know their intimate feelings? The two of them have been public figures and as long as they continue to expose themselves, everyone has the right to express what they feel when they see the photos or videos. Have you ever had a close person with whom you have shared 22 years of your life growing up together, having common goals, sharing joys, sorrows and even quarrels? Have you ever had a person close to you who could look into your eyes without talking to understand what you was thinking? Have you ever had a close person who could feel the slightest gesture of your hand, even if your eyes looked away and shook your hand? Well, the two of them they had it. Scott and Tessa can marry whoever they want, but they haven't given a good imagee of how strong friendship can continue even if they take different paths. that's what we all saw. And that's why we wonder where their friendship went. How can two people who had what they had stay away. It was right for them to take their space and try new opportunities but what came to the public was the end of their friendship. Also, if I mean that I don't like the companions of both, it's not fair to be insulted or listen to the sermon. Also it was Tessa who during an interview after RTR, so a few months ago, said this sentence: "there's also a deeper level of something inexplicable between us. There's a bond that even we don't fully understand and I think that's just because of the sheer amount of time to spent together...". Maybe now that she's engaged to Morgan her feelings are clearer. Having said that, they are young, rich and healthy and I wish them every happiness.

I agree you are so right Tessa looks sad and lonely. This man does not light up her eyes or her life like Scott. But Scott walked away from Tessa with another woman he ended their friendship/partnership for this fiancee. She has changed Scott. Scott is not the same loving person we saw when he and Tessa had their career. He and Tessa do not talk at all. I don't think Scott really loves this woman and Tessa does not really love this Hockey Player they are running away from each other and their love fr each other. You cannot spend 22 years of your life with a person an not love them or something about them but to spend 22 years together and now not even talking to each other is terrible. Something bad happened and now they have grown apart so it is sad very sad how their love story has ended. In years from now they will sit down and realize what a very bad mistake they made. I do agree they have a right to marry who they want but the question is why are they not even friends or why are they not even talking to each other. This woman who Scott is marrying has changed him she has pulled him away from Tessa she is jealous of Tessa and hates her because Tessa got to skate with Scott and win Gold Medals with him so the fiancee is determined to keep them apart. However, Scott is allowing the separation he is not trying to fix his and Tessa's relationship he does not want to upset his intended wife i guess. So So sad! The wedding is July 25th this Saturday. He is getting married. Tragic ending to a beautiful friendship/partnership.

Well, that was unexpected, at least for me so far away from Canada. All the very best to Tessa, beautiful soul, but when she looks at this young man there is no spark in her eyes: she can smile and so on, but she has the same look that she had in the first minutes of Scott's very awkward speech for the WoF, last summer. This is a Sing Street's "happy sad" news for me, just like Scott's engagement back then. Still I kinda feel for the other two involved in this "thing": they are in tough spots, and if they are smart enough they very well know that. Life goes on, time will tell.

I agree wholeheartedly she does not have that sparkle that excitement in her eyes that longing like she did with Scott the puppy dog eyes like "I could just eat you up". Scott brought out that side of T and she did S. Scott is so lost he is walking into a bed of hell with this fiancee. To me it seems like S and T really are in love deeply and are running so fast as they can away from the truth they have turned to other people hoping to escape from admitting their love and what is so scary is they could very well settle and never have each other. I don't care who T and S go to they will always love each other and want each other 22 years is a long time to be together and not miss that person. I really hope somewhere T and S get together talk come back to each other even as friends because they will regret this in years to come the will look back and really regret being so immature that they could not find a way to make their love work. It was evident that they had to be a couple then they win the Olympics return home to London still are a couple until June 2018 when it was reported they apparently had a very bad argument which ended in him reuniting with this woman goes to Florida has an affair because she was still married to her husband of 10 years, and at the same time she was seeing another guy who was a doctor. In November 2018 she files for divorce from husband and in March/April there about he give her an engagement right this is the same woman he referred to as his lst skate partner who he did not have any communication with nor did he see her since he was 14. Yet, he all of a sudden is now engaged to her to be married in July. Just does not make any sense at all. So now T is with a Maple Leaf's Hockey player, what a coincidence that S loves the Toronto Maple Leaf's it is his favorite team he wanted to play for the Leaf's but did not have the hands. Why this guy? Why this hockey player? Why is S getting married to J who is jealous of T. Nothing is adding up at all. Maybe if they were involved with different people who they met randomly it might seem okay but something is just off. Coincidence? I think not! Your thoughts?

I agree I do not get a good feeling about him and they don't make a good match like she did with S. He and Tessa do not fit. I feel he is moving in because she is a very pretty woman like a trophy girlfriend and what better person to put it in S's face. M Rilley is a hockey player for the Maple Leaf's Hockey Team which is Scott's favorite team. What is interesting also is that S got engaged and the woman he got engaged to is the woman he said was his first skate partner the day they recognized him and T at the WOF Ceremony in Ilderton. He totally threw Tessa under the bus breaking her heart. It is reported S ended the partnership and when he did then T ended the friendship. So 22 years of gold medals, silver medals ,friendship working hard pushing each other being there for each other saying things like when S said in an interview " I can't imagine my life without working with T" and she agreed has just gone down the drain". Ended very bitter. So sad.

Scott ended the partnership he walked out of the friendship so T had to move on. Scott has treated her so bad since the Rock the Rink tour he has ended their friendship and they are not even talking to each other after 22 years so sad. Apparently they had a very bad argument right after the 2018 Olympics and Scott walked away got involved with this woman who hates Tessa and he just wants nothing to do with Tessa so why? Why is he hurting Tessa so bad. He always said he never wanted to hurt Tessa he said he wanted to continue skating with Tessa for a very long time.
