I am playing double bass on this album. We recorded it in Rome and my beloved father had passed away some months before, while my beloved aunt would have after some time. That was a very difficult period for me. I tried to play my best, anyway. Now, reading these opinions about this CD that makes me so proud and happy. Thank you so much, everybody. Composer s started to bring the violin out of the brothel and tavern and write music more technically demanding of it But you needed player s of skill and the instrument s needed modification and bowing style began to change to adapt So the newer finer , stronger instruments made by Stainer,Guanari, Stradivari... To cope with the kind of treatment they'd get!
