Don't ever allowed anyone to pressure you into having another child or asking about it. I had one baby, many years ago. I have never regretted that decision. I, too, had health issues, and although, I could have tried, I felt so incredibly happy with just having my daughter. Thank you for your vulnerability and being so honest. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOUR NEXT JOURNEY OF PUSCHASING A HOUSE!!!! I am an HGTV addict. All blessings going your way for 2025!!!!!!

You’re awesome! We need more women supporting other women’s decision when it comes down to their bodies. The people who have gave me more flag about being one and done have been fellow mothers especially within my in law circle. It’s rude and it’s out of line to even ask the question of “when will you have another”. I’m super fulfilled having one, and I knew even before having this one that it would only be one for me due to many reasons which are none of anybody else’s business. A child needs a healthy and happy mother and father more than it needs a sibling. I can tell that Theo is super well raised with amazing manners and spirit. Much against the stereotype of single children.

@@lilo638 isn't that terrible, women judging other women on their decision to have babies or a family for that matter. My daughter is a well adjusted young women and has never felt that she needed a sibling. I have many friends who choose not to have children at all and they are happy amazing human beings. I have a beautiful career, my daughter always tells me, how impressed she is by watching me handle, motherhood, a marriage and my career. Truth be told, I am glad that I only had one child because my career was important to me too. We all need to respect whatever women choose to do. My sister had 4 children, she is an awesome work from home mom, and she is happy. I say be happy for all women and the freedom to have the life you want!!!

as an only child, i don't resent my parents at all for their choice, either. it was the choice that would make them the happiest and healthiest, which in return, makes me happy, too! i love them for sticking to what would be best for them, and ultimately for our family.

I so appreciate your vulnerability and openness when talking about your health journey and motherhood. I've experienced medical trauma myself and in many ways it has really altered what I perceived motherhood to look like for me and it's nice to have some of those concerns acknowledged and validated by someone I've looked up to throughout my 20's. Thank you, Tess

I’m 36 and I’ve only had one child, a daughter. I had pretty bad health issues and I stuck with 1 kid so I can be the healthiest and most present mom to my daughter I can be. I don’t regret the decision AT ALL. She is one amazing kid. I think it’s because I have the capacity to be the best mom I can!

My kid is 20 years old but I was a teen mom so it really annoys me when people assume I'm done just because I haven't had another in 20 years. I'm still very much in child bearing age. There are people who are starting their families older than myself. People can be really intrusive when it comes to additional kids and it's annoying when they make their assumptions too. I'm glad you haven't experienced much of that though.

The crime in New York is bad I would never go on the subway there ever the crime in the subways is totally out of hand The only way I would ever live there is if I could live in the best places of Manhattan otherwise no you need to be rich to have a decent life

I live in queens which is definitely more suburban and rarely take trains so NY is fine for me-definitely have been city/subway skeptical lately though … even growing up around here it’s definitely changing.
@AbbyMcGuire2316 күн бұрын
@@JacquieDolly it’s so sad 😞 Her husband actually works a lot specifically in the subways, and let me put it this way- he’s completely 100% immune to seeing dead bodies. Daily murders(legitimately every day), daily robberies at gunpoint/knife, overdosings, etc. It’s so awful. He told his whole family they’re NEVER allowed to take the subway. I wish the bad eggs didn’t ruin it for everyone else. Because of course there’s SO much good too. 💔
