Just wanted to show everyone the difference when cutting your granite. Granite is very hard material to try and cut with the cheap masonry blades.

Look bro, I really appreciate you making the video. You really need to wear a respirator or at least a dust mask and face shield.

No guard on your saw? and all we saw was your back, also you should have started a fresh cut to see how long it takes to cut through the tile. just sayin.

No guard. No respirator. No ear plugs. Previously used a metal cutoff wheel on stone. Only shoots his back and leaves a minute of dead time. Pretty much everything not to do in a KZbin video.

Wrong type of diamond blade for granITE...you should be using a continuous rim blade, not a turbo rim. Turbo rim is for masonry products like brick and block.

I apologize this video was made moons ago boss. I ordered new brands to test out for the next project. I have blue-stone and concrete to cut up for a sump pump installation. Can't wait to test out the other masonry blades and compare them. Thank you for your time. Much appreciated. Hopefully I can assist you in the future. Good luck on your travels.

They are actually completely different. light-colored plutonic rock found throughout the continental crust, most commonly in mountainous areas. It consists of coarse grains of quartz (10-50%), potassium feldspar, and sodium feldspar. Garnet forms when a sedimentary rock with high aluminium content, such as shale, is metamorphosed (subjected to heat and pressure).

Well there’s your problem! You were trying to cut through granite (gran-ite) not granite (gran-it) lol😁 Now in seriousness you do need to follow the other commenters advise on ppe. For your next video you should actually face the camera directly onto the subject matter and not your back.

You are an adult so you should know better which is why I will just kindly mention 2 things: *(1)* get yourself a proper N95 mask to protect your lungs against fine silica dust which will go deep into your lungs for permanent damage to your ability to exchange oxygen, *(2)* do not use cut-off blade without the grinder guard for masonry but if you do, wear a face shield. There are videos on KZbin that show what can happen to your face or neck when piece of cut off blade break off. If you don't want to carry around an oxygen supply tank when you get older, you should wear proper PPE.
