Theres a major point missed out... the aprilia rs125 can be set up with a power blade giving it around 29bph giving it a top speed of around 105-110mph. On the track, a 120kph 4-stroke and a 150kph 2-stroke is a BIG difference. On a daily basis, however, on public roads, you can't go over 110 ANYWHERE, so it's ridiculous to get a 2-stroke for daily use. A 4-stroke consumes less, less services needed, the speed is enough for public roads, and sounds like every other 300/650 bike. A 2-stroke, consumes 2 litres more, more services needed, you need to ILLEGALLY open your bike to reach over 120kph AND the bike sounds like an electric toothbrush.

Becouse the RS series are the most popular 125 motorbikes among beginners.So why is that ? RS are quite simmilar to 4 strokes in how they behave in terms of speed and gas consuimption when downpowered.But as you get used to the downpowered bike you can unlock its true potential only by changing the exhaust system jumping form 15hp to 30 hp.And thats what makes an RS so special,it literally grows with the rider.(IF you are allowed to upgrade it in your country)

30Kmh isn't a big deal on a 600cc. But I am purely talking about 125's. And for 125's the engine just has to be two stroke. 30Kmh is a lot at that sort of class. If my bike does 120 Kmh and yours only does 90Kmh then that's a 33% speed increase over your bike. Now if we're talking 200kmh and another at 230kmh Then that's only a 15% speed increase. Just under half that at what I said at the start. So yeah. I care.

A 4stroke is still a motorcycle. If you don't have full license you will have to wait 2 years, and get the license for higher cc. Motorbike price? They aren't that expensive if used before bought. Buy the license? You can pay it on 12-24 times in many Driving schools, and a 4Stroke motorbike consumes way less than a 2 stroke, and it doesn't breaks your pistons every 5000 miles.

Well yeah, but there are people that are more worried about it's consume and the money that you spend repairing, than the power at all. I must admit 4 strokes are slow. But with 300 euros you can upgrade to 184cc and you can't compare to the r125 original power. It gets a good boost I'm talking about the yamaha yzf r125 btw, aftermarket stuff come from Itally so it's expensive. Idk about the others

it depens, if you want speed over 70 mph and can go for little highways, get one of these, but if you want a bike for going just across city and way more comfortable get a supermoto. But with such a little cc you won't do weelies or stunts. The only way would be with the clutch but if you do weelies with the clutch, you will break the engine... Choose the one you want.
@175myles10 жыл бұрын
GratUp98 I agree, with you on the highway part, these buffer the wind at the speed so much better, but the supermoto is the most fun thing, you can go on trails with hybrid tires.

Get the RS 125 NOT the RS4 125 With good maintanance it will never fail you. Even if the motor halts, you can rebuild it with no more than 150euros and you got yourself a brand new motor. Unless you dont like 2-strokes.
