Sweet '57, other than dash around the gages (easy fix), a paint job, and a horn, this car has it all. The 305 is great motor for this car, under the hood, trunk, under carriage, and interior are all clean. I wish my 1st car ( a junior in high school was a '57 used) was this clean. BUT there is one thing I think about when a buying a NEW car now-a-days, they start at 35,000 (usualy 40g's) will they past the test of time. I'm 73 and bought new cars for the last 50 years, still I only smile when I see a '57 n a '70 Chevelle (1st new).

Nice 57 Chevy underside very clean new gas tank. All the lights work except one headlight. Great price and it is worth a new paint job some time down the road. Should sell fast.

That's the only way I'd buy a older car,,,,,, that's a older restoration,,,,,,,I'd most definitely wouldn't buy one that's just been painted,,,,,, because old as that paint job is your most likely want have anymore rust popping up in different places,,,,,,grind it down and cut the rust out and weld in metal patch panels,,,,, because a lot of people will grind over rust and put fiberglass fiber strands over it I'm 69 and been a body tech my whole life grew up in body shop my dad owned his body shop was wet sanding vetts when I was 11 years old thank you for your videos nick hope to be seeing you before the year is over

Sticky nicky at it agsin eith a nice 57. Just dont really care for the 305 chevy. The h.o ss monte carlo style 305s were good and underrated. The regular 305s,not as much, but csn be a dependable motor if taken care of i guess. A period correct 265 or 283 or 327 we ould be a better chojce if that 305 takes a dive

octane fuel will eat up those carburetors bud. Old grand dad joey says you should probably be using 91 non oxygenated fuel unless you got EFI..
