Love that 68, I have one, owned since I'm 20, now I'm 63, I still get goosebumps when I drive it. Mines a number matching 350 horse 396, turbo 400 auto. Love it!

It continues to blow me away how people invest the money and time on restoring these classics but won't invest the time to fix the simple things like wipers, heater controls, and almost all of the time a horn. Just 2 more hours of work can have everything functioning on these vehicles. Go figure.

Last year for 138 "SS" code to indicate true "SS" in VIN number. Too bad GM did not continue code through 1972 to eliminate "real" or "false" dilemma. Sharp, true "SS" and razor SHARP price! Other sites skyward of $55K. Great find, Nick👍👍!

Fantastic no power steering no power brakes excellent less trouble more room 👍😁 I'm not sure but I think The Chevelle's like 68-69 used Buick seats. I'm pretty sure I read something about.😊 That🤔 I think they were bucket seats??? Ethanol just use Lucas ethanol conditioner it'll cure all your carburetor issues. 👍👍

My favorite Chevelle it's nice car especially for it's age I went to Jackson years ago and looked at a red 68 SS with 396 4speed and white interior with white leather bucket seats it was sharp with new black carpet and had white letter tires and wide ones in back an air shocks an I would have bought for the $1,200 he was asking for it but it wouldn't run he said it just quit one day so he got something else

Very nice car! Reminds me of my 68 SS396 4 Speed in dark grey I bought for $1600 back in '74. I do miss her though. The one thing that bugs me about this ride is the gap at the drivers side door and front fender. Looks too wide compared to the other side. Also the price is a bit high for all the issues.

Aw man this car brings back memories! I almost bought a 68SS with a LS6 454 from a wrecked 70SS chevelle. But my pops wouldn't let me because I was 16 and living under his roof. Man there's no way I'll ever get one like that again

Good theory, but don’t rely on it. Local guy here hit one doin about 75 (probably 85+) with His beautiful concourse 440 Mopar unit just down the road from Me in broad daylight! What a sick mess, but He restored it to 100%, again. It hurts just to see the pictures of the damage. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

I could tell when you drive all the cars that you definitely like the Chevys the best am I correct?😂 Even if you use premium it'll do the same it doesn't matter which grade you use. Your best bet is to use the Lucas ethanol it'll fix the problem. Down where I live they have ethanol-free gas so I usually go there. 👍👍👍
