I remember a good friend sold his 1963 two door Chevy impala SS for 300 bucks. After that we went about 20 miles north and bought a 69 super bee 440 4 speed for 900. This was in 1971.

I sold my 69 chevelle SS 396 back in 1974 for $400..I paid around $1500 for it in 1971.

I actually owned a 69 SuperBee just like this one in Blue too! Unfortunately I really didn’t know what I had then ! It was in 1977 and I was 17! Living in Vegas! My uncle work for the police department and I bought the car from one of his cop friends.

You asked what happens where we are in the cold/snowy parts. My buddy's old oil heater broke last night at about 2AM. No snow predicted until next week, but it's cold at night. Told him he could crash here if they don't make it tonight. It's what happens often around here in the wintertime; the emergency calls can't all get satisfied. They want $300 just to come out before they even step foot inside the house, then it's $75/hr.

I Normally would take the 1970 Buick as a first pick on almost any occasion but with this Super Bee being blue on blue I would have to pick this. I think the 68-70 Charger, Super bee and GTX, RR and Cuda from 68-73 if it is Blue on Blue I want it. I hope one day to own one Mopar Blue on Blue 68 Charger or 71 Cuda are top 2 though. But If I had the cash I would have bought this by now for sure.

These old mopars I've replaced several gas tanks before. 5 gal will get you a 1/4 tank. These tanks are about 20 gal.

Test drive one at 16 to buy my dad was on the rest ride with me it had a 440/ sixpack needless to say when the guy says mash on itull go at 50 mph it went sideways and I got smacked in the back of the Head and end of test drive ! Memories ! Ended up with a 67 dart with a slant six. But that is the car of cars it'll be gone fast !!
