For me, this C-10 generation was the benchmark on reliable, small trucks. Toyota and Nissan were still making inferior vehicles for the American market, but they learned what worked with the generation and then they mastered it. I love this vehicle. It has the same reputation as the El Camino: vehicles for the working blue collar who just wanted something that can be abused and still work past its final note payment. We need these vehicles again that are tough, reliable and under $30k. Everything out there now is plastic and heavily dependent on fragile electronics.
